The Benefits
Time Well Spent
None of us want to waste our time going through some study or spiritual exercise that doesn’t help. The Benefits Of Devotions With Jesus will help you see what you can be looking for as you go through these devotions. Jesus has wonderful plans for your life; but, you must be willing to spend time with Him so you can get His benefits.

Making The Best Of Your Time
There are six things you must have in order to be able to spend time with Jesus:
  1. You must want or DESIRE to spend time with Him.
  2. You must spend time with Him by STUDYING your Bible.
  3. You must spend time with Him by talking or PRAYING to Him and allowing Him to talk to you.
  4. You must spend time waiting for Him to put faith into your heart and mind so you can BELIEVE Jesus is telling you the truth.
  5. You must be willing to spend this time with Him so you can learn how to LOVE.
  6. You must spend time with Him walking through the moments of your life. This walk with Jesus is called FAITH-ACTION. You are cooperating with Jesus as you live on the basis of the fact that He has given you those things you need.

Looking For The Right Thing
As you follow the devotional notes, listen to each days message segment, and read the text provided, you aren’t just trying to learn principles to memorize. Spend time asking Jesus to put these things into your life. The benefits are only going to be as great as you are looking to Jesus to teach you and then change your life. The words that are presented to you will have Jesus’ power in them to help change you, your relationships, and your circumstances. Keep in mind that Jesus is God; He isn’t trying to put pressure on you so you can follow instructions. He is trying to help you see what He can do for you, in you, to you, and through you. It isn’t what you can do for Him; it is what He can do for you.
The Introduction
Jesus Is Your Instructor
If you go into a class with an instructor, you will have joined that class and are listening to that instructor because the class and the instructor are presenting something you want to know. You are trying to learn something that you believe will help you in some way for your future. Jesus and Christianity have so much more to offer your future than you can imagine in your wildest dream. Your time here on earth and your eternity are all enhanced by Jesus’ knowledge, knowledge of the future, understanding, wisdom, and power. He is going to be teaching you how to listen to Him, be trained by Him, be empowered by Him, and be transformed by Him. He is about to change your life with incredibly good things.

Jesus Has Requirements
Like in any course of study, there will be certain requirements. When you were born into this world, you had to learn what would work for you and what wouldn’t. There are always rules for every aspect of life. If you are studying for a career, there are things you must learn how to do to be successful at it. If you are entering into a relationship, there are things you and the other person expect of each other. This is your chance to find out what Jesus requires in your relationship with Him. If you learn how to establish the very best relationship with Jesus, you will learn how to establish the very best relationship with yourself and all those around you.

God bless you abundantly as you move forward in your spiritual journey.
