Our main objective is to establish a close, open, and beneficial relationship with Jesus. We need all He has to offer; we need Him and His great provisions. Prayer is one of the most important aspects of our relationship with Him. We need to have constant contact with what He thinks and feels. Prayer opens the door to a constant communication with Him.

The Bible makes it clear that we don’t know what we should pray for in Romans 8:26-27. The Holy Spirit and the Bible help us develop prayers and prayer studies so we can have examples and various types of prayers. The more prayers we can expose ourselves to, the more we can learn how to have back and forth conversations with Jesus. The better we get at talking with Him, the more information, understanding, and wisdom we get from Him.

Jesus wants to help you take advantage of His prayers called “The Lord’s Prayer.” This is so you can do what He told you to do. He said in Matthew 6:9: “This, then, is how you should pray.” And then, He presented The Lord’s prayer. Jesus wants to teach you how to use and understand The Lord’s Prayer for getting salvation, for new Christians, for sinning Christians, and for mature Christians. This helps you pray from very important perspectives the prayer He gave you. Jesus will then help you learn how to talk to your heavenly Father through the “Talking With Your Heavenly Father” course of study.

The textbook and workbook combination, in “Books For Successful Living” are a part of the prayer studies. They offer a plan where you read a chapter containing two to three pages in the textbook. Then the next day you pray the prayers on two or three pages in the workbook. The textbook and the workbook are combined together as a study and prayer book.

All during your time in the workbook you will be given prayers to pray. They are examples of prayers you can pray that help you talk to Jesus. These books and the times of reading, studying, and praying will help you grow in your success in life. By learning how to work together with Jesus in prayer, He will give you a complete understanding. You learn how to discuss everything you do with Him. You and He will be able to come up with the best plans, work with the right people, live in the best circumstances, and take advantage of Jesus’ incredible knowledge, understanding, wisdom, and power.
