How Do You Submit Your Life To Jesus Through Study?

Opening Doors To People
Mark 12:30-31 (NIV) Love the Lord your God with all your HEART and with all your SOUL and with all your MIND and with all your STRENGTH.

The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

There is no commandment greater than these.”
Loving your neighbor as yourself is complicated. There are ways for you to love yourself that are very wrong; and, there are ways that are vital. Studying the Bible will help you find out how to love yourself in such a way that you can successfully love your neighbor as yourself.

Yielding Your Life
To Jesus Through Jesus’ Bible

Training Your Life For Jesus’ Life
As A Child Of God,
You Can Learn How To Remain Connected To Jesus
Gal 2:20 (NIV) I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Making Sure You Want This
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live: In submitting your life to Jesus, the second thing that is required of you in The Six Biblical Principles is, you must STUDY it. The Bible makes it clear that submitting your life to Jesus has already been credited to your record with God; but, Jesus wants help you study the Bible so He can show you how to ACTUALLY submit your life to Him. Actually submitting to Him is a VERY interesting system; He wants you to let Him live His life through you. He wants you to let Him train you by you seeing how He lives in and through your life. You will discover that this powerful system will work miracles in you problems with divorce.

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me: He won’t take over; He will require your permission moment-by-moment, issue-by-issue; but, if you give it to Him all day long, you will experience a relationship with Him that will be incredible. You will get a chance to see through Jesus’ eyes, feel Jesus’ feelings, experience Jesus’ thoughts, and be used by Jesus to do God-sized things. He will take you into the spirit realm with Him and let you learn how to live as a child of God. It is the most dynamic, wonderful training system in all of existence.

You Living The Jesus Life
Joining Jesus
John 15:4 (NIV) REMAIN in Me, and I will REMAIN in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must REMAIN in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you REMAIN in Me. All day long, everyday, you have the opportunity to decide to include Jesus in on YOUR decisions, YOUR actions, and YOUR life. But, you have an old life that YOU have already created for yourself. At this point YOU are just inviting Jesus in on something that you want Him to join YOU on. The next step in this journey into submitting to Jesus is, you joining JESUS in HIS life. You need to leave YOUR life and join Jesus in the life HE wants to live in and through you. As you yield to Him, you will not only get healing from your difficulties with divorce, you will get a powerful new life that you didn’t even know was available to you.

Making The Next Decision
Mat 4:18-20 (NIV) As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. “Come, follow Me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” At once they left their nets and followed Him. What if Peter and Andrew said, “No, Jesus, You come and join us. We want You in our life; we want to be mightily used by You. Come and join us so we can be trained by You as we go about OUR life.” That would have been a totally different relationship than what Jesus had in mind.

Taking The Next Step
Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-30 (NIV): “COME TO ME, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

When Jesus was in a human body, all who followed Him had to physically leave the place where they were and physically follow Him. It was easy to see where Jesus was and make sure you were with Him. But now, you join Jesus by the decisions you make all day long. He may want you to decide one thing and you may want to do something else. It may NOT be a decision to go anywhere; it may be a decision to do something. You may feel you know what you need Him to do so you can be helped and healed from your struggles with divorce; but you will soon discover that Jesus is MUCH wiser than you are.

Jesus is going to help you see how to apply the Bible to your everyday life so you can travel together with Him. With Jesus working through the Holy Spirit, Who is ALREADY IN you, you are ALREADY following Jesus. You don’t NECESSARILY have to go anywhere. If you are going places that are wrong, bad, or evil, then you will have to physically leave; but, typically following Jesus is more spiritual than physical.

Remaining IN Jesus
Remaining By Being Teachable
John 15:4 (NIV) REMAIN IN Me, and I will REMAIN IN you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must REMAIN IN the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you REMAIN IN Me. Remaining IN Jesus has to do with your approach to life; if in your life you want to use your human efforts, talents, skills, abilities, and world training you won’t be remaining IN Jesus. To be trained in as a child of God, you must be willing to learn a whole new system for life. If you feel you already have what you need and are already good at it, you are detaching yourself from Jesus; Christianity only works through yielding to Jesus’ way of doing things.

Remaining By Being Flexible
John 15:5 (NIV) “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man REMAINS IN Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; APART from Me you can do nothing. Remaining IN Jesus is a LITTLE BIT like trying to stand in someone’s shadow; as they move, you would have to adjust your position to stay in it. Their shadow wouldn’t do anything physical to you; it would be totally up to you to make the adjustments. However, in this case Jesus would give you the power and training on how to adjust to His shadow.

Remaining By Submitting Your Will
John 15:6 (NIV) If anyone does NOT REMAIN IN Me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. Remaining in Jesus is similar to remaining in His shadow, because you have a God-given free will that makes it super easy for you to NOT remain in Jesus.

The thing you need to always keep in mind is, if at any time during your day you don’t want to submit to Jesus over any issue, it is as easy as stepping out of His shadow. However, if you want Him to, He will give you the training and power to remain in Him. He won’t just leave it up to you; He will leave it up to your will or DESIRE; but, He won’t leave it up to you having to use your human effort or world training. He will give you His power and His training, if you “do what it takes” to get it.

Remaining Through Jesus’ Training
If anyone does NOT REMAIN IN Me: Some don’t remain IN Jesus because they don’t like Jesus’ life and salvation. They try it and decide that they like human effort and the world better. BUT, some start to detach because they are living the Romans 7:15-24 life of human effort and world training. Not because that is the way they want to live; they live that way because that is all they know. They think that, that is what Jesus and Christianity are all about. They need to study the Bible and find out how to live The Victorious Christian Life.

Remaining By Studying
John 15:7 (NIV) If you REMAIN in Me and My words REMAIN in you: If you don’t know what the Bible says, then you are left with what you believe. You are basing your life on what you think, what your friends think, what world leaders and trainers think, and what you hope will work. But, if you study the Bible, you will get the most powerful and effective information in existence. God, Who knows everything, is teaching and training you in the TRUTH. There is no hypothesis, there is no trial and error, there is no guess work, there is no hoping that it is true and hoping that it will work. You will know for a fact that you are basing your life on the knowledge, foreknowledge of the future, understanding, and wisdom of God.

Remaining By Asking
John 15:7 (NIV) If you REMAIN in Me and My words REMAIN in you, ASK whatever you wish, and it will be given you. This is the second most important FACT about Jesus and Christianity. Rather than you TRYING to obey a Biblical assignment you are given through the Bible, you ASK! The more you learn to stop TRYING and start ASKING, the more you will move out of the Romans 7:15-24 life.
