The Steps To:
How To Make Sure You
Are Born Again
Praying The Lord’s Prayer For Salvation
Asking For Forgiveness
Here is the prayer Jesus told us to pray on a daily basis: Mat 6:9-13 This, then, is how you should pray: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts (sins), as we also have forgiven our debtors (those who have sinned against us). And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.” This is the prayer you need to pray in order to make sure you have invited Jesus into your life. However, it needs to be slightly modified so you can make it YOUR prayer.

Your Prayer Asking For Salvation
Through the prayer you are about to pray, Jesus will forgive you and cleanse you from EVERY sin you have ever committed. When you sin or do things that hurt you and those around you, you become infected with a spiritual disease. Sin is a spiritual disease that is extremely contagious and very deadly. If Jesus doesn’t cure you, then you will NOT be able to enter His eternal Kingdom. He WILL NOT allow even one sin into His eternal Kingdom. This is because it would bring the same wars, diseases, calamities, pestilence, famines, plagues, and death that is being experienced here on earth.

Here’s How It Works
1 John 1:7 (NIV) But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin. Jesus died in your place, shed His blood for your sins, and provided you with a healing that is supernatural and God-sized. You may not understand what all this means; but, just like you may not understand what a certain medicine does so as to cure you, you take it because the doctor does understand what it does.

1 John 1:8 (NIV) If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. You may not understand and be aware of all the things you have done to yourself and those around you that were sins; but, Jesus does. There is a record that lists off EVERY sin you have committed against yourself, other people, and God’s plan. This list has recorded every person you have hurt intentionally and accidently. It lists all the good things you should have done but didn’t. If you decide you really aren’t all that bad and refuse to admit that you have been infected with the spiritual disease of sin, the prayer you are about to pray won’t cure you.

1 John 1:9 (NIV) If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. All you have to do is understand that one sin (a wrong, bad, or evil thing you have done against yourself, others, and God’s plan) WILL exclude you from God’s eternal Kingdom. If you can admit this, then you will be able to honestly pray a prayer where Jesus will forgive you your sins and purify you from all unrighteousness. The definition of the word “unrighteousness” is: a wrong, bad, or evil thing you have done against yourself, others, and God’s plan. Are you ready to pray Jesus’ prayer He gave you so you can be cured of EVERY sin you have EVER committed?

Your Cure And Your Healing
Jesus’ Prayer Modified For You
Pray this prayer several times so you will be able to understand what it is you are asking for: My Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth and in my life as it is in heaven. Give me today my daily bread. Forgive me my sins (debts), as I also have forgiven those who have sinned against me (debtors). And lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from the evil one.

You Are NOW Forgiven
Here is 1 John 1:9 modified so as to show you what Jesus just did for you: If you confess your sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive you your sins and purify you from all unrighteousness. All your past, present, and future sins have been forgiven you. Now there are a couple of things you need to do since you are a child of God. The reason you prayed, Forgive me my sins (debts), AS I also have forgiven those who have sinned against me (debtors). is because of this VERY important rule God has: Mat 6:14-15 (NIV) For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Now, Forgive Others
This isn’t something you can start and finish today. Jesus will be bringing people into your mind a few at a time for you to forgive for what they did to you. He forgave you of a tremendous amount of sins, many that you didn’t even realize they were all that bad. Now He was you to do the same for those who have sinned against you. Jesus will use your forgiveness for them as a way for Him to forgive them from what they did to you. Plus, when you forgive others, Jesus will heal your heart from the damage other’s sins have done to you.

Starting On A Journey Of Faith
Confession And Faith
The last assignment of forgiving others for what they have done to you and this next assignment are to be a part of your Christian lifestyle. These next two Bible verses put the finishing touches on your daily journey as a child of God, a member of His family, and a citizen in His eternal Kingdom: Rom 10:9 (NIV) That if you CONFESS with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and BELIEVE in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you WILL be saved.

Start Saying The Truth
Here’s what you are to do next; and, this is what you must do for the rest of your life. First, CONFESS with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord.” This must be done out loud now; and it is to be done with all of your friends and acquaintances. On a regular basis you must be willing to let people know Jesus is your Lord. Make sure you are never ashamed of this fact: Luke 9:26 (NIV) If anyone is ashamed of Me and My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of Him when He comes in His glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.

Start Believing The Truth
Here’s what you are to do next; and, this is ALSO what you must do for the rest of your life: BELIEVE in your heart that God raised Him (Jesus) from the dead. This is a simple matter of being aware that Jesus is the living Christ. All you have to do is accept the fact that He died on the cross and then three days later He rose from the dead. Rom 6:9-10 (NIV) For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, He cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over Him. The death He died, He died to sin once for ALL; but the life He lives, He lives to God.

Here’s Why You Confess And Believe
Rom 10:10 (NIV) For it is with your heart that you BELIEVE and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you CONFESS and are saved. Justified means you have a perfectly clean record with God; He accepts Jesus’ death as your death and gives you direct access to Himself. Just as soon as you prayed Jesus’ prayer, started forgiving those Jesus brings into your memory from time to time, and did what Romans 10:9 told you to do, you were given a perfectly clean record with God. Saved means you were made into a new person; it will take training, miracles, healings, and transformation for you to take advantage of this incredible miracle.

You Are Made New
2 Cor 5:17 (NIV) Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! Jesus explained this as a new birth: John 3:3 (NIV) In reply Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born AGAIN.” First, you were born as a human; that gave you the right to be born AGAIN as a child of God. John 3:6 (NIV) Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. This birth were you were born as a child of God came through the above procedures. You just made sure you have been born again. Congratulations! You are ready to proceed in you spiritual growth as a child of God.
