There are still four more things Jesus needs to teach us about resisting things that are trying to sabotage our life.

If we don’t allow Jesus to produce His power-commitment in us, we will fold under pressure. Life is going to try to take us down; it is going to try to push us in wrong directions. If we aren’t committed to being the very best, it will be easy for our body, other people, the world’s philosophies, and the devil to trip us up.

Jesus always tells us the truth; we don’t get much truth from the sources we usually trust. People tell us what they know we want to hear. They tell us things they want us to hear. And we base our lives on things that are failing everyone. We see the devastation in the world and in the lives of the people around us; but, we follow in their footsteps. Jesus will be teaching us how to resist fake philosophies, ideas, principles, and concepts. Plus, He will start building our life on the TRUTH.

Jesus has a power that doesn’t look like it would be very strong. Love looks to us like something that makes us very vulnerable. Love is a powerful weapon that Jesus will teach us how to use. He and it will empower us to use it against some of our most powerful and deadly enemies.

So many Christians are trying to ACT like Christians; Jesus has made us into a being that doesn’t have to ACT. Being a Christian is a powerful weapon against all that comes our way. Jesus will teach us who we are in Him and help us do what we weren’t capable of doing before. Renewal isn’t being remodeled or improved; it is a powerful transformation that has made us more than conquers in Christ Jesus.

In these courses Jesus shows us what mixture and contaminants can do to us. If we have a little poison mixed in with our good food, we can see that, that isn’t a good thing. These training issues are vital for keeping us from being almost successful, almost victorious, or mostly a winner.

Jesus helps us yield to the Holy Spirit’s convictive works. The Holy Spirit is typically pointing out ONE area where we need improvement. When we experience the guilt of seeing something in our life that is contaminating and hindering us, we can try to hide it, justify it, explain it away, or allow Jesus to set us free from it. Exposure to the Holy Spirit and Jesus will help us get cleansed so we can FULLY and completely succeed.

Our ability to hide things that we think, feel, say, and do from people causes us to have things in our life that we shouldn’t. The fact that we can get by with thinking or feeling anything we want to makes it look like we are okay. However, even if the person we talk about behind their back doesn’t find out we said it, we still didn’t get by with it. What we think, feel, say, or do is a representation of who we are. If things we think, feel, say, or do are wrong, bad, or evil, it hurts us as much or more than it does those we think, feel, say, or do to or about them. Jesus helps us open our heart and mind to Him so we can be set free from all these things.
