God has a special power that handles the marriage issues that hurt you. He uses love to defeat the pain, the stress, the frustration, and the blame you are experiencing. The reason YOU aren’t your answer is because you are too small and limited for the assignment. If that offends you, then you need to go outside and look up at the stars. God made the universe, the world you live on, and He even made you.

There will always be things and people YOU can’t resist or control; but, there will never be ANYTHING that God can’t control or do. At first that may not mean much to you; you may see God’s power and abilities as only being for His benefit. You may not be at the place where you understand His love for you. You may not understand why He hasn’t done something already to help you with your situations and your attitudes. You may not see what love has to do with the struggles you are going through. But, it is love that makes God everyone’s answer to everything they are going through because He not only has power, He has a deep desire to help you.

The thing for you to realize is, your emotional feeling about marriage issues is your heart’s way of helping you realize you have a life-problem. The pain coming from your emotions is letting you know you need help. You may be the type person who feels like you can solve anything and don’t need anyone’s help. But, the fact that you are struggling with marriage may be adding to your emotional stress and causing you confusion. Ask God to help you accept your limitations; keep looking at the stars and allowing them to be your evidence that you are smaller and weaker than you first thought. You need to come to the place where you are willing to ask God for His help. You will need to transfer your faith, belief, reliance, dependency, and trust in yourself or other people into God.

God doesn’t just HAVE love; He IS love. He doesn’t just feel a love for you; He has taken a love-action so as to demonstrate His love. He came and died for you so that you would know there is no one who loves and respects you more than He does. Rather than you looking to yourself and other humans to help you succeed in your marriage relationship, He can fill your heart with love.

Here are some things you need to think about and accept:

• God loves you more than you love yourself.


• He knows everything and can anticipate what you are going to need long before you need it.


• He is always with you and is always available to be your protection.


• He has all power and authority and can, therefore, keep bad things from winning over you.


• He knows your future and can steer you away from many of those things that would have hurt you.


• He has all knowledge, understanding, and wisdom; and He uses them to make sure you get the very best of everything.

It is time for you to learn how to get God to take your place and work through you so you don’t have to use your own wisdom or the world’s wisdom to win in your marriage. If you use the correct methods, He can help you start seeing things from a different perspective so you won’t feel so confused and frustrated about yourself, your marriage relationship methods, and the problems you are experiencing from your spouse.
