Mat 7:7-8 (NIV) Ask and it WILL be given to you; seek and you WILL find; knock and the door WILL be opened to you. For EVERYONE who asks receives; HE who seeks finds; and to HIM who knocks, the door WILL be opened. Jesus, teach me that this is my first tool set; make this one of the most important principles in my Christian life. Teach me that if I TRY to do something spiritual rather than ASK You to help me with it, I will fail. Make it clear to me that ASK, SEEK, and KNOCK are the ONLY way Christianity works. Show me that all other efforts, systems, techniques, and methods fail. All my life I have accomplished the things I wanted to accomplish by trying, giving it my best effort, believing in myself, and putting my mind to it. HOWEVER, help me understand that Christianity WILL NOT work for me through any of these systems.

Jesus, in John 15:5, You explained something that I must understand and believe. You said: “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing. Help me see that apart from You, I can do nothing in time or eternity that will count as having any value. Help me understand that for me to remain in Jesus is to use The Three Keys To All Of Christianity. Not using them will end up being human effort or based on world training. Teach me that I must see this first set of tools as being mandatory procedures so I can start getting those things I need from God.

Jesus, get me ready for tomorrow’s study on my second tool set. Teach me that my first tool set and my second tool set will be dependent on each other. Teach me that my second tool set is called, The Six Biblical Principles. If when I ASK, SEEK, and KNOCK and I don’t get results, the six tools, DESIRE, STUDY, PRAY, BELIEVE, LOVE, and take FAITH-ACTION will help me find out why. Teach me that asking, seeking, and knocking must be based on the right DESIRES, must be based on the right Scriptures from my STUDIES, must be in response to the right kind of PRAYERS, must not be selfish but rather based on LOVE for others, and must be lived out through FAITH-ACTION. Show me that if any of these six things are missing in my asking, seeking, and knocking, I will need Jesus’ help getting them fixed.

John 15:7 (NIV) If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ASK whatever you wish, and it WILL be given you. Jesus, teach me that if I remain in You and Your words remain in, me, I can ASK whatever I wish, and it WILL be given to me. Teach me that this is when You and I are working together in a powerful and dynamic way. Make it clear to me that Christianity is all about ASKING, SEEKING, and KNOCKING. These are my connections to Jesus for empowering me to remain in Him and His words to remain in me. Help me see that You then help me use DESIRE, STUDY, PRAY, BELIEVE, LOVE, and take FAITH-ACTION to help me grow in my relationship with You. This powerfully improves my ASK, SEEK, and KNOCK. And, it powerfully improves my relationship with You. And, it powerfully improves the answers I get from God.

Jesus, in my next day’s study and prayer time, take me into a better understanding of The Six Biblical Principles. Teach me how to get my first tool set, The Three Keys To All Of Christianity and my second tool set, The Six Biblical Principles, to work together, so wonderful things will start happening to me. Show me how to begin the process of getting trained, skilled, and experienced in their use. Help me understand this example of combining these two tool sets for getting my prayers answered.

1. I ASK You, Jesus, to give me the DESIRES I need to have.


2. I ASK You, Jesus, to help me STUDY the things I need to learn.


3. I ASK You, Jesus, to help me PRAY for the things I need to pray for.


4. I ASK You, Jesus, to help me BELIEVE those things I must have faith for.


5. I KNOCK on the doors of opportunity, Jesus. Help me LOVE others enough to share my breakthroughs with them.


6. I ASK You, Jesus, to empower me to take FAITH-ACTION. Teach me that this last principle, FAITH-ACTION, will be You and me working together so I can live on the basis of the fact that I have what I have been desiring, studying about, praying for, believing I have, and loving others enough to share my breakthroughs with them.

Jesus, teach me that discovering these two tool sets is me Finding The Right Method for cooperating and working with You. Help me be willing to allow it to take some time, training, and receiving power from You. Show me that You are teaching me how to use these spiritual tools skillfully. Help me see that they are what You and I will use to set me free from my difficulties with drugs.

Jesus, if I find myself trying real hard to accomplish something in life and forget to ASK for it, help me notice that I am NOT getting the results I need. Help me see that ASK is the first, main, and most important tool. Show me that I will even have to ASK You to help me remember to always ASK You for Your help. Teach me that there is no tool below or more basic that the ASK tool. Teach me that the first and most important thing I must learn is, I must ASK for EVERYTHING in order to get it.

James 4:2 (NIV) You want something but don’t get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, BECAUSE you do not ASK God. Empower me to make ASK the first and foremost tool I have working in my life. You said in Matthew 7:11 as You were introducing The Three Keys To All Of Christianity: Mat 7:11 (NIV) If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, HOW MUCH MORE will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ASK Him! Help me understand and apply this powerful and wonderful principle to all of my life.

Jesus, let SEEKING bring passion and depth into my ASKING and KNOCKING. Teach me how to apply the SEEK key so I won’t ASK casually; help me NOT KNOCK on the doors of opportunity to share my breakthroughs with others with a half hearted effort; and, help me NOT appy The Six Biblical Principles without much feeling. Teach me how to apply the SEEK key to all the other tools so I can find myself having the kind of attitudes that You honor.

Jesus, teach me that the Bible doesn’t say in Mark 12:30: Love the Lord your God with your heart and with your soul and with your mind and with your strength. It says: Mark 12:30 (NIV) Love the Lord your God with ALL your heart and with ALL your soul and with ALL your mind and with ALL your strength.’ Teach me that the “ALL” is the SEEK part of loving God; help me see that it adds that intensity to everything else I do. Let it put the passion and emotion in my relationship with God.

Jesus, teach me how to apply the KNOCK key to my life. Teach me that KNOCKING is about me being willing to share my breakthroughs with others. Help me love others enough to start KNOCKING on the doors of opportunity to share. Even if I feel fear, resistance, and lack a real desire to share with others, even if I feel inadequate, unworthy, shy, or too busy to take out the time to share, help me apply the KNOCK key anyway. Help me start asking You to help me get opportunities to share with others. Work on my attitudes, love, and power to desire to share.

Jesus, if I know You and the Bible are telling me that I should do something I don’t want to do, help me go ahead and apply the three keys to it. Help me do this so You can work miracles in my life. Help me apply The Three Keys To All Of Christianity to a situation where I really don’t want to do what You are asking for; show me that, that is the place where great breakthroughs come.

Jesus, I ASK You to help ME ALWAYS apply my two tool sets to EVERY situation in my life. Since problems with drugs are the things that are bothering me the most, it is the BIG issue in my life. But, help me see that the more I learn how to apply my two tool sets to EVERYTHING, the more I will get good at applying them to the BIGGER issues of my life. Show me that if I start including You in on the most insignificant aspects of my daily activities, it won’t be long until I become very skillful at using my two tool sets. Teach me that as I get used to working together with You, a special relationship is developed between You and me. Teach me that, that relationship is what brings the healing and miracles I need for being set free from my struggles with drugs.
