Jesus, help me see why this subject is the HEART of all of HELP eMagazine. Help me see why it is so important that it has to have two programs dealing with power. Help me understand why each one has to have courses in them. Let the first power program, “The Power Introduction,” help me get familiar with this power concept. Let the second program, “The Power Instructions” program give me the step-by-step procedures into your power. Make it clear to me that these two Power Programs are vital to me because it is impossible for me to be able to apply those things necessary to live life and the Christian life. Show me that I need You and Your power in order to be able to apply the Biblical information to my life. Help me see that this is where I get the power to win over loss of a loved one issues.

Jesus, use this first program to help me learn what the power life is all about; let its three courses covering three major issues over six weeks help me with Your power. Use the first week’s course, “The Importance Of The Power Life” reveal to me the vitally important issue of the power life. Let the second week’s course, “The Importance Of Eternal Life” built an eternal perspective in me. And, let the third week’s course, “From Power Life To Eternal Life” show me how my human life effects my eternal life.

Jesus, as these three courses look into the benefits, the power, and the relationship made available through Your salvation, help me understand that they don’t give the steps for getting salvation; they just help me learn all the benefits that come to me, if I and my friends are willing to receive Your salvation.

• Jesus, use this program to help me understand what the benefits are as I and my friends try out Christianity. Show me that if I or my friends want to see how Your salvation helps with struggles such as loss of a loved one, then this is the way to understand why I and my friends should join You in Christianity.


• Jesus use this program to help me and my friends understand what the benefits are in Christianity, since we have already become Christians. If I feel I or my friends don’t fully understand these benefits and how to use them to help over struggles with things like loss of a loved one issues, then show me that this course is very important for that.


• Jesus use this program to help me and my friends understand why we should renew our commitment to You. If I or my friends have been neglecting our relationship with You and are finding ourselves powerless over our struggles with things like issues with loss of a loved one, then show me that this course will help with a recommitment to You.

Jesus, help me and my friends know whether or not we are in a good relationship with our heavenly Father, AND help us know whether or not we understand all the benefits, rights, and privileges of Christianity. If we do, show us that You may want us to skip this course and move on to the next one. Show us what You want us to do.

Jesus, use this second Power Program and its three courses to cover four major issues over eight weeks in my life. Let the first course, “How To Get The Power Life,” be used by You to provide the steps for establishing this power-relationship with You. Let the second course, “Keeping The Power Life,” be used by You to provide step-by-step Scriptural procedures for keeping this power-relationship with You. Let the third course, “Living The Power Life,” be used by You to show how to take those things I have learned and apply them to my every-day life with power through You. And, let the fourth course, “Maturing In The Power Life,” be used by You to help me learn how to be trained by You to grow into an adult child of God.

• Jesus, use this program to help me and my friends want to know HOW to take the steps into Christianity for the first time. If I or my friends are NOT sure we have done what it takes to be born again, then use the Bible principles in this study to help us take those steps.


• Jesus, use this program to help me and my friends want to make sure we know what steps it takes to be a member of God’s family. If I or my friends are NOT sure we know what the steps are for being born again, then use the Bible principles in this study to help us make sure we have taken every one of those steps.


• Jesus, use this program to help me and my friends who have been born again but want to renew our commitment to You. If I or my friends need to make sure we know HOW to recommit our life to You, then use the Bible principles in this study to make sure we have taken those steps.

Jesus, help us know whether or not I and my friends are in a good relationship with You, AND, know the steps for maintaining that good relationship. Let us know whether You want us to skip this study and move on to the next one. Help me and my friends decide whether or not we need help in this area.
