Eight Doors Into God’s Blessings
God’s Power-Attitudes
  1. Mat 5:3 (NIV) Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

  2. Mat 5:4 (NIV) Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

  3. Mat 5:5 (NIV) Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.

  4. Mat 5:6 (NIV) Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

  5. Mat 5:7 (NIV) Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

  6. Mat 5:8 (NIV) Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

  7. Mat 5:9 (NIV) Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.

  8. Mat 5:10-12 (NIV) Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

The Solutions To Alcohol
In “Understanding The Solution Part 2” you will be looking at eight doors that you have already been made aware of. But, knowing they exist and taking advantage of them are two different things. These eight doors will open your heart to areas where you are closed, unreceptive, and unaware of God’s power. There are eight blessings from God that these doors make available to you. If any of these doors are closed, then that blessing from God will be missing in your life. If that blessing is missing in your life, then it will hurt your relationship with God. You need all of these doors to be open so you can have all you need to win over your struggles with alcohol.


Mat 5:3 (NIV) Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
The blessing you get by being poor in spirit is, yours is the kingdom of heaven. The reward is incredible; being poor in spirit opens such an important door that the kingdom of heaven becomes yours.


Mat 5:4 (NIV) Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
The blessing you get through being involved in mourning is, you will be comforted. The reward is a healing of your heart from world training and involvement in sin issues; mourning opens such an important door that comfort becomes yours.


Mat 5:5 (NIV) Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
The blessing you get by being meek is, you inherit the earth. This reward is incredible; being meek opens such an important door that the earth becomes yours.


Mat 5:6 (NIV) Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
The blessing you get by hungering and thirsting for righteousness is, you will be filled. This reward is really wonderful; hungering and thirsting for righteousness opens a vital door of being filled with righteousness. Heb 12:14 (NIV) Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. Holiness and righteousness are basically the same spiritual quality.


Mat 5:7 (NIV) Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
The blessing you get through being merciful is, you will be shown mercy. The reward is that you get what you give; being merciful opens such an important door; it is a door that brings forgiveness for every sin you ever committed.


Mat 5:8 (NIV) Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
The blessing you get by being pure in heart is, you will see God. This reward is awesome; being pure in heart is indispensable. You need this blessing to be a child of God, a member of His family, and a citizen of His Kingdom.


Mat 5:9 (NIV) Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.
The blessing you get through being a peacemaker is, you will be called a son of God. The reward is vital; being a peacemaker opens such an important door that makes you be called a child of God, a member of His family, and a citizen of His Kingdom.


Mat 5:10-12 (NIV) Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

The blessing you get through being willing to be persecuted is, yours is the kingdom of heaven, and, great is your reward in heaven. The reward is vital; being willing to be persecuted opens such an important door that makes the kingdom of heaven yours, and, great is your reward in heaven.
