Jesus, sometimes I don’t really have a specific problem I am currently dealing with. At least it isn’t something I can put my finger on. But, I still need help with the day to day issues of life. I have little problems that keep coming at me; and when I add them all up, it can amount to a big one.

Jesus, now and then life can keep chipping away at me, trying to tear me down. It is when I start feeling like I just can’t catch a break that I need to get some help. Show me that if I simply try to tough it out, it can eventually wear me down and start to create bigger, more difficult problems in my emotions. If my emotions begin to go on a downward trend, it affects the way I deal with the people around me. Help me see that, that can hurt my ability to function in my relationships, on the job, my physical condition, and my spiritual health.

Jesus, my life doesn’t always move along smoothly. My life’s problems don’t always come a little bit at a time. I can go for years with everything being pretty good. Just enough problems and just enough successes for me to handle them and recuperate from their stress and pain. Then, all of a sudden, they start to pile up while coming at a rapid pace. This causes me to wonder why all of this is happening to me.

Jesus, even though You have helped a lot of things in my life to be pretty good, the constant and persistence flood of little things draws my attention off of those good things. This keeps me looking at the difficult things that are happening to me and making a list of them. Let me get some external help so I won’t start to see my entire life as being one big problem.

Jesus, let me understand that You don’t need to help me find reasons for my guilt; You can set me free without my life having to be perfect. The circumstances of my life can’t hurt me, once I experience the power of God’s healing. Show me that it is true He will do a lot of great things with my circumstances; but, the main miracle will be what He does in my heart.

Mat 28:18 (NIV) Then Jesus came to them and said, “ALL authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Jesus, make it really clear that my struggles with life isn’t bigger that You, Your power, or Your provisions. Show me that it is a simple thing for You to heal mw and set me free from anything I am dealing with. I have already heard that Luke 1:37 (NIV) For nothing is impossible with God. Help me see that the big issue is, what do I have to do to get Your help? If I went to a human hospital, clinic, rehab program, or most any other place for helping people with their problems, most of the responsibilities would be on them for making you well. However, unlike them, You have a goal for me that I am not aware of.

Mat 11:28 (NIV) Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Jesus, I know You want to help; I know You have the power to help; so, reveal to me what the problem is. Help me spend time with You and allow You to help me understand what the hold up is, what is keeping this problem from being solved, and what the process is for me being healed of these issues with life. Show me that the most difficult part of this problem is the nature of me having a struggle. The problem itself is bad enough; but, the way it is able to dominate me and change a lot of my life make it seem very powerful. Help me understand what You wantme to learn is, You are much more powerful. And, You want to help me to be powerful through You.

Eph 6:10 (NIV) Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Jesus, help me embrace the fact that You have a plan for me where you not only learn how to handle this issue, You train me and empower me to win over all issues. You want to develop a relationship with me where I work together with You. He will train you how to yield to His power and provisions until I am a skilled, trained, experienced, and mature child of God. Teach me that everyone goes through similar problems like my; but, too many of them don’t join You and get life-training. Make it clear to me that I am really not on this planet to just learn how to be a human, I am here to learn how to be dynamic as a child of God.

Jesus, You offer the solutions to all of these problems and consequences. But, the big thing You want me to learn is, You and I can easily defeat them. It is just that I haven’t put as much effort in my child of God training as I have my human training.
