Jesus, as God starts helping me with all these “little” things, help me see how important it is that I not just forget about them. Help me remember them so I can express my appreciation for the wonderful things God has done for me. Keep them close to my heart for the rest of my life. Let my relationship with God grow into a wonderful experience as I thank Him for the answers He gives me. Show me that it isn’t until I take out the time for praise, worship, and thankgiving that my attention is drawn toward how wonderful God is being to me. Teach me that the more I do these things the more they build my love and closeness to Him.

Jesus, as I am praising God, going over all the wonderful things He has done for me, let it help my faith. As I face new things that are extremely challenging and threatening, my faith can take a nose dive. I may experience panic, fear, doubt, and worry. Let it be at that moment I start thanking God for all the things He has ALREADY done for me. Help me see that it helps me see that God IS hearing my prayers and IS responding to my needs. Help me see that since He did all these other things for me, I can trust Him to also do much more.

Jesus, show me that there is a special technique that will transform my faith. Help me start with something that was really scary for me. Something that God came through; but, before He did, my faith was really challenged. Help me remember the specific circumstances that surrounded that former problem. Let me remember any doubt, fear, turmoil, pain, or stress I went through BEFORE God sent me His answer to the problem. Let that help me see that I didn’t need to be concerned; God was going to meet my needs. All I needed to do was trust Him.

Jesus, while I am thinking about this past problem, help me go over all the events that led up to the solution to it. Show me whether or not there were times when it all looked impossible. Help me remember whether or not there were things that happened that made it look like I was going to fail or go under. Then show me what did God do that changed all that. Help me see areas where I needed to grow in my faith and trust in God. Help me see whether or not there times when I almost gave up. Show me whether or not the issue ever seem so big that I had a hard time seeing God as being able to handle it. Jesus, I am so glad You empowered me to remain faithful and help me not give up on God.

Jesus, now that I have all these current situations piling up, help me ask myself these kinds of questions. Compare those specific past situations with the ones I am in now. Do all these little issues that have accumulated, look impossible? Are there things happening NOW in my life that make THIS TIME look like THEY are going to cause me to fail? Based on my past experiences with God, what do I really BELIEVE He is going to do to solve THIS pile of problems?

Jesus, as You help me remembering the miracles God has worked for me, help me see whether or not God used the same solution He used on my first miracle. Or, did He use an entirely different method for solving it? Help me remember what I thought the solution should be. Help me remember whether or not God solved that past problem the way I thought He should. Was my idea as good as the one God used? I am glad God didn’t listen to me and solve it the way I wanted Him to.

Jesus, this variety, that comes in God’s answers to my prayers, help me accept it. I am typically geared to doing things a certain way. I tend to expect God to use some past method to help me with my new issues. But, help me see from my past experiences with God, He uses as many new ways of doing things as there are miracles in my past.

Jesus, make me ready to start learning how to get God’s help with the things in my life. Give me powerful principles from God that are going to take the things I have learned so far and use this information to let You start changing my life. Let me see that the past miracles I have experienced, only scratched the surface of all those things God has prepared for me. As I move into the next phase of these studies and prayers, help me continue to notice every special thing God does for me; help me not let one miracle slip by. Show me how to notice them, appreciate them, praise and thank You for them, and allow You to use them to build my love and faith.
