Jesus, show me whether or not I am the type of person who is sensitive to the issues of fault and blame. I may be trying to keep the BLAME shifted away from me for this money problem. However, help me see that You are not involved in the blame business.

Jesus, help me not spend time trying to find out whose fault it was for creating these money issues. Help me find out how it can be fixed. Even if I or someone else has had a lot of bad desires, used a lot of bad financial systems, and made a whole bunch of bad decisions, help me see it still isn’t a matter of whose fault it is. It is a matter of what it’s going to take to bring financial health and healing to me. Set me free from blame and get me headed in the direction of healing.

Jesus, show me how to find out what I am doing wrong so it can be fixed and healed. Teach me that the only way this is going to happen is for me to be able and willing to look at my past behavior and see where I went wrong. Then let God and the Bible start teaching me better ways of approaching spending, desires, income, relationships and circumstances.

Jesus, help me see that God can prosper me, once I and those involved with me have been healed from any inappropriate spending. He can bless me with skills, better abilities, desires to advance in my training, and superior opportunities for making more money. Help me trust Him to show me what He can do.

Jesus, show me that for me to prosper and not be healed first would be like putting my money in a bag with a big hole in the bottom of it. A lot of money may go into it; but, I would NEVER benefit from all that money.

Jesus, give me a quick look at what You and I need to work on. Help me see me find the area where I need to pray and ask for Your help:

• Do I like saving money; or, do I just like spending it?


• Am I willing to learn better skills so I can make more money in less time; or, am I satisfied with the abilities I have?


• Am I willing to keep looking for better job opportunities; or, do I just want to stay where I am?


• Am I willing to let You show me how to work; or, do I just want to follow my own work pattern?
