1. Mat 5:3 (NIV) Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Jesus, teach me what it means to be poor in spirit. Help me be changed by God’s power-attitude so I can be blessed; and, so I the Kingdom of heaven can be mine.


2. Mat 5:4 (NIV) Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Jesus, help me to yield to God’s power-attitude of mourning so I can be comforted by You.


3. Mat 5:5 (NIV) Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Jesus, help me be allow God’s power-attitude empower me to be meek so I can inherit the earth.


4. Mat 5:6 (NIV) Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Jesus, help me experience the God’s power-attitude of hungering and thirsting for righteousness so I can be filled with it.


5. Mat 5:7 (NIV) Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Jesus, let me be turned into a merciful person by God’s power-attitude so I can be shown mercy.


6. Mat 5:8 (NIV) Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Jesus, purify my heart with God’s power-attitude so I will be able to see God.


7. Mat 5:9 (NIV) Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God. Jesus, make me into a peacemaker through God’s power-attitude so I will be called a son of God.


8. Mat 5:10-12 (NIV) Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Jesus, empower me with a willingness to be persecuted by being made bold through God’s power-attitude so I the Kingdom of heaven will be mine and so my reward will be great in heaven.

Jesus, get me ready for “Understanding The Solution Part 2.” As You and I are looking at these eight doors, help me realize that knowing they exist and taking advantage of them are two different things. Let these eight doors open my heart to areas where I am closed, unreceptive, and unaware of God’s power. Help me be very familiar with these eight blessings from God; teach me that these are doors made available to me. Show me that if any of these doors are closed, then that blessing from God will be missing in my life. If that blessing is missing in my life, then it will hurt my relationship with God. Let all of these doors be open so I can have all I need to win over my struggles with spirituality.

Jesus, show me that the blessing I get by being poor in spirit is, mine is the kingdom of heaven. Teach me that the reward is incredible; show me that being poor in spirit opens an important door that makes the kingdom of heaven become mine.

Jesus, show me that the blessing I get through being involved in mourning is, me being comforted. Teach me that the reward is a healing of my heart from world training and involvement in sin issues; mourning opens such an important door that I am comforted.

Jesus, show me that the blessing I get by being meek is, me inheriting the earth. Teach me that this reward is incredible; being meek opens such an important door that the earth becomes mine.

Jesus, show me that the blessing I get by hungering and thirsting for righteousness is, me being filled. Teach me that this reward is really wonderful; hungering and thirsting for righteousness opens a vital door of me being filled with righteousness. Heb 12:14 (NIV) Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. Teach me that holiness and righteousness are basically the same spiritual quality.

Jesus, show me that the blessing I get through being merciful is, I will be shown mercy. Teach me that the reward is that I will get what I give; being merciful opens such an important door that I am forgiven of EVEY sin I EVER committed.

Jesus, show me that the blessing I get by being pure in heart is, I will see God. Teach me that this reward is awesome; being pure in heart is indispensable. Show me that I need this blessing in order for me to be a child of God, a member of His family, and a citizen of His Kingdom.

Jesus, show me that the blessing I get through being a peacemaker is, I will be called a son of God. Teach me that the reward is vital; being a peacemaker opens such an important door that makes me a child of God, a member of His family, and a citizen of His Kingdom.

Jesus, show me that the blessing I get through being willing to be persecuted is, mine is the kingdom of heaven, AND, great is my reward in heaven. Teach me that the reward is vital; being willing to be persecuted opens such an important door that makes the kingdom of heaven mine, and, great is my reward in heaven.
