Hallowed be Your name,

Hallowed
Hallowed Has A Special Meaning
You may not have a lot of experiences with your heavenly Father yet. Hallowed means His relationship with you is perfectly and completely good. He knows everything and will use that power to never make a mistake with you. Hallowed means He is all powerful; He will never allow anything wrong, bad, or evil to force its way into your life. Hallowed means God IS love; He is the only One, including yourself, that loves you with a supernatural love. Hallowed means He has given you a free will; He is THE ONLY ONE Who honors that gift. If you truly understand the word “hallowed,” you will say it with respect, appreciation, love, and praise.

Self Built Walls
If you didn’t feel any special feelings at the moment you used this prayer to enter into God’s family and Kingdom or still aren’t, then you may have certain barriers that you have built up to protect your heart. It may be hard for you to feel love from or for just about anyone. Let’s see if the words in this prayer can help you grow in your love and appreciation for your Father.

A Father That Can Be Trusted
Hollowed means that your heavenly Father is pure; He has excluded all lying, cheating, stealing, hatred, murder, and evil from His being. That means you can open your heart to Him and trust Him. He is love, truth, life, and the way to purity; He is NEVER going to hurt you. That means you can stop trying to protect yourself. The things that make His relationship with you such an awesome relationship are His attitudes and character.
Experiencing Who God Is
Learning How To Lower Your Guard
You will soon find that God is perfect; you can completely trust Him. We know you have been mistreated by a lot of people. If you hadn’t kept your guard up, the issues of life would have crushed you; but, you need to let your guard down now. Letting your guard down will need to start with trusting God in your relationship with Him. Later you will learn how to trust Him during your relationships with others.

Grace And Mercy
Pick a safe place for prayer; go to a place where you won’t be distracted or interrupted. You need a place where you can experience Who God is. You need time to experience God’s holiness, godliness, purity, and righteousness. Hallowed means His is gracious and merciful; these will just be words until you allow Him to help you understand that He is gracious and merciful. If you say these next words, you are acknowledging that you are accepting the fact that He is going to give you constant blessings and miracles you do not deserve (grace). You are also accepting the fact that He is NOT going to let you be punished, hurt, or damaged for the things you deserve to be punished for or deserve to have happen to you (mercy).

Opening Your Heart To Your Heavenly Father
If you can appreciate to some degree these two gifts, then say: “Hallowed be Your name.”
