Using The Three Keys To All Of Christianity
To Submit Your Choices And Decisions

The Three Keys To All Of Christianity
Activating The Six Biblical Principles
Mat 7:7-8 (NIV) ASK and it will be given to you; SEEK and you will find; KNOCK and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who ASKS receives; he who SEEKS finds; and to him who KNOCKS, the door will be opened. Jesus has shown you how He honors your God-given free will by you having to ASK and PRAY for everything you want from God. But, you also need to understand that God is looking at the intensity of your ASKING and PRAYING.

Increasing Your Pursuit
Heb 11:6 (NIV) And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who EARNESTLY seek Him. If you DESIRE something on a casual level, then God’s response will be mild. If you STUDY without much hunger, then your Biblical training will be slow. If you PRAY without much passion, then God’s answers to your prayers will be limited. If you don’t care that much whether Jesus gives you the faith to BELIEVE, then He will wait until you get a greater desire.

Applying The Seek Key
Mark 12:30 (NIV) Love the Lord your God with ALL your HEART and with ALL your SOUL and with ALL your MIND and with ALL your STRENGTH. This verse doesn’t tell you to love the Lord your God with your HEART and with your SOUL and with your MIND and with your STRENGTH. It is telling you to love Him with ALL of them. ASK is simply you praying and asking Jesus to help you. SEEK adds a second dimension to all that you do. It helps you get Jesus’ power to add intensity, passion, intentionality, determination, and diligence to your DESIRE, STUDY, PRAYER, BELIEVING, LOVE, and FAITH-ACTION. SEEK deals with how much, how intense, and to what degree, are you doing what you are doing?

YOUR CHOICES AND DECISIONS
The SEEK Key
You Need To Ask With Intensity
Whether it is The Six Biblical Principles or anything else in you life, ASK, SEEK, and KNOCK make them work. Even though ASK is a prayer, it is needed when you apply the PRAY principle in The Six Biblical Principles. Otherwise you will PRAY; but, you will not be praying through Jesus’ guidance, power, and wisdom. Once you have gotten used to ASKING before you make a decision about anything, you will be ready to add the SEEK dimension to all your choices and decisions. You will start ASKING Jesus to empower you to get the intensity of the SEEK key. You will look to Jesus for passion, determination, commitment, and enthusiasm.

SEEK
How Much?
Do you DESIRE to submit your choices and decisions to Jesus? To what degree, how intense, and with what determination do you want to submit your choices and decisions to Jesus? Even the ASK key is influenced by the SEEK key. If you are ASKING Jesus to empower you to DESIRE to submit your choices and decisions to Him, you could be ASKING casually. You could be saying, “it would be nice, if You would empower me with DESIRE to submit my choices and decisions to You.” Or, you could be saying, “PLEASE JESUS, empower me with the DESIRE to submit my choices and decisions to You!” Jesus really cares about how intense your heart and MIND are engaged in an issue.

What’s Your Top Priority?
Mat 6:33 (NIV) But SEEK FIRST His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these THINGS will be given to you as well. The SEEK key is not only dealing with intensity, it is also dealing with priority. What do you consider to be the most important issue on your list? Your choices and decisions need to be made according to the ORDER of PRIORITY. If you are making decisions about unimportant things, then you are neglecting making the important decisions. If you are SEEKING FIRST God’s kingdom and His righteousness, then you are putting your spiritual decisions as your top priority.
Who’s Your Top Priority?
Heb 11:6 (NIV) And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him. The SEEK key also deals with making God your most important issue. If you are applying The Six Biblical Principles to some one else most of the time, then THEY and your relationship with them is your most important relationship rather than God.

Which Are Your Top Principles?
1 Cor 10:32-33 (NIV) Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God--even as I try to please everybody in every way. For I am not SEEKING my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved. One of God’s ways of helping you create win/win situations is for you to put yourself last. Mat 20:16 (NIV) So the last will be first, and the first will be last. If you were in a race and you spent all your time helping everyone else across the finish line before you crossed it, in Jesus’ race, you are the winner. But, this is a decision of you doing things Jesus’ way and not the world’s way. Your SEEKING would cause you to put a lot of people ahead of you.

Who Sets What You Seek?
John 4:23 (NIV) Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father SEEKS. Jesus said in John 5:30 (NIV): “By Myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and My judgment is just, for I SEEK not to please Myself but Him Who sent Me.” The SEEK key points you toward God’s priorities; it is a matter of you allowing Jesus and the Bible to tell you what God’s priorities are. Then Jesus uses the SEEK key to help you make them your priority.

Trading Human Seeking For God’s Seeking
Rom 2:7-8 (NIV) To those who by persistence in doing good SEEK glory, honor and immortality, He will give eternal life. But for those who are self-SEEKING and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. The rewards for using the SEEK key are tremendous; and, the benefits of giving up being self-SEEKING are tremendous too. You are giving up wrath and anger and you are gaining eternal life.
