Rom 5:1-2 (NIV) Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through Whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

Therefore, SINCE we have been justified: Once we get salvation and justification, all our past, present, and future sins are forgiven. THAT puts us in a position to be able to not only BE a child of God, we get to LIVE like a child of God. The rights and privileges of a child of God come into our life. God treats us totally different than He did when we WEREN’T His child. Back then we were choosing to make ourselves, the world, and the devil our parents. For as long as we failed to take advantage of Jesus’ provisions, we WEREN’T a child of God. But, now that we are, there are things we can do and experience that we couldn’t before; AND, we need to know what they are.

Therefore, SINCE we have been justified through faith: The faith that God is talking about is different from what we mean when we say that we have faith for something. This faith is the belief that God and the Bible always tell us the truth. No matter how hard it is to accept some of the things in the Bible, it is our responsibility to know for a fact that somehow, some way they are the truth. If there is something Jesus is telling us and we don’t believe it, that is a lack of faith. We must believe in Jesus and the Bible’s integrity and trustworthiness.

Therefore, SINCE we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: This peace has to do with a conflict; it is like being at war with another country. Until something happens to help two opposing parties to get along, there is no peace. Being saved, justified, and born again brought peace with God. You and God are no longer on opposite sides of the issues; you have peace with God. John 14:6 (NIV) Jesus answered, “I am the WAY and the TRUTH and the LIFE. No one comes to the Father except through Me. You prayed all the parts of Jesus’ prayer and obeyed Romans 10:8-10, which were words from Jesus, and you immediately got peace between you and your heavenly Father.

We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through Whom we have gained access by faith: THE REASON you were forgiven of all your past, present, and future sins was so you could have peace with God and gain access to your heavenly Father. God IS NOT going to forgive us of all our past, present, and future sins so we can live a life of unrighteousness. Unrighteousness is the opposite of righteousness; it is doing wrong, bad, and evil to ourselves, others, and God’s plan. And, it is to fail to do right, good, and righteous things to ourselves, others, and God’s plan.

THE REASON you were given peace with God and allowed to gain access to your heavenly Father was so you could get all His provisions and power to live a righteous life. Without that peace relationship, you wouldn’t be allowed to have access. And without that access, you wouldn’t be able to get any of His provisions and power. Salvation, justification, grace, mercy, peace, access, being born again, and being a child of God are ONLY for those who are WILLING to allow God to flow through them. God is a righteous God; He wants you to allow Him to empower you to live righteously with yourself, others, and His plan. That is why you were given peace between Him and you; and, that is why you now have access.

We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through Whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand: Grace accepts the fact that we cannot do righteous things WITHOUT the power of God. And, grace keeps us from being required to do this through human efforts.

Grace isn’t limited or hindered by what we CAN’T do, grace is only held back by what we WON’T do. God will empower EVERYONE who is WILLING, it doesn’t matter to Him that YOU can’t do it. As long as you are willing, all you have to do is believe in your heavenly Father’s honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness. Believing in your heavenly Father gives YOU the power to change your attitudes, character, and behavior.

And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God: You will get so many miracles, blessings, and wonderful changes in your life that it will bring great rejoicing. Such awesome things will come to you that it will build your hope of the glory of God.
