Using Faith-Action To Submit Your Will-Power

Opening Four Doors To God
Mark 12:30 (NIV) Love the Lord your God with all your HEART and with all your SOUL
and with all your MIND and with all your STRENGTH.

Opening Your Strength To God
Submitting Your Will-Power To Jesus
Are you willing to take the sixth step in The Six Biblical Principles? Are you willing to take FAITH-ACTION with every aspect of your life? The Six Biblical Principles are ALL pointing to FAITH-ACTION. The fourth step of BELIEVING is the moment when you KNOW Jesus has given you the thing you have been DESIRING, STUDYING about, and PRAYING for. But, FAITH-ACTION is the moment when you can actually start practicing living it in your life. Jesus uses BELIEVING to let you know you have it; then He uses FAITH-ACTION to empower you to live it. Until you join Jesus through FAITH-ACTION, this wonderful thing you have been DESIRING was only credited to your record with God.

James 2:17 (NIV) In the same way, FAITH by itself, if it is not accompanied by ACTION, is dead. Jesus said it this way: Mat 7:24 (NIV) “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” FAITH-ACTION is required of you; but, Jesus used your DESIRE, STUDY, PRAYING, BELIEVING, and LOVING to bring you to this dynamic place where you and He start living on the basis of the fact that it is finally ready for you to live. It is a moment of blessings, rejoicing, thanksgiving, and doing something you were never able to do before.

YOUR STRENGTH
Submitting Your Will-Power To Jesus Through Faith-Action
Jesus is putting FAITH in you for KNOWING that you can now take actions that are pleasing to God. As you go through your day, you will need to know that God is pleased with the way you feel, the way you are thinking, the way you are talking, and the way you are doing things. All day long, the Holy Spirit is giving you feelings that indicate how you are doing. If you feel a feeling that indicates you made a mistake, then that is the moment for you to change what you are saying or doing. If you feel His approval, then you can keep moving forward. This requires you to practice listening to the Holy Spirit speaking to your conscience.

You have been experiencing the Holy Spirit’s influence on your conscience for most of your life. However, since you didn’t have Jesus’ power to obey those indications, you would sometimes try to respond to them; but, other times you would resist them. This resistance hardened your conscience and taught you how to ignore the Holy Spirit’s influence on your conscience. You are now applying The Six Biblical Principles to your conscience and getting Jesus’ help to bring it back into a good, healthy conscience. Let Jesus take you through the system of healing your conscience.

Learning How To Stay In Touch
1 Th 5:17 (NIV) pray continually. This Scripture is telling you to focus your attention on what the Holy Spirit is saying to your conscience. This isn’t the only meaning of this Scripture; it actually is asking you to be in constant communication with God. But, Jesus is using it here to help you get your conscience back in good working order.
    1. DESIRE:
  • To pray continually is your DESIRE! First, you have to DESIRE to start listening to your conscience again. Since you now have Jesus’ power to DO want the Holy Spirit is telling you to do, you can start DESIRING that it get healed. Then it can start telling you when you are doing things that are right or wrong.

  • 2. STUDY:
  • To pray continually is what all your STUDY is about; you are learning how to be in constant contact with Jesus. In addition to your conscience, Jesus is causing ideas to pop up in your mind and feelings to come into your heart. These won’t be like the subjects and issues of your conscience. Your conscience ONLY deals with right and wrong, good and bad, righteousness and evil. Jesus, will be giving you ideas that WILL be right, good, and righteous; but, they will be ideas and emotions that help you know what to do, how to do it, when to do it, where to do it, and why to do it. He will be using the things you learn in the Bible and help you use them in your frienships, marriage, business, and in meeting new people.

  • 3. PRAY:
  • To pray continually is the goal of your communication with Jesus, you need to be constantly PRAYING and asking Him what is the best action to take for the moment. This is where you think things like, “Jesus, what should I do in this situation.” Rather than just trying to come up with an idea yourself, or, rather than just going around asking other people what their opinion is, you consult Jesus. It is okay for you to ask yourself and other people; but, you need to allow Jesus to be your final authority for what actions you should take; yield your will-power to Jesus’ will-power.

  • 4. BELIEVE:
  • To empower you to be able to pray continually is why Jesus is speaking faith into you; He wants to empower you to be constantly BELIEVING for everything you and He are doing together. It is important for you to not get stuck in constant inactivity. It is good that you are asking, waiting, and looking to Jesus. But, there must either be a moment when you realize Jesus isn’t giving you faith for something because it isn’t God’s will for you to do it, or, He gives you faith and you become empowered to BELIEVE you have the answer, the power, the skills, and the wisdom to do the right, good, and righteous thing.
    4. BELIEVE CONTINUED:
  • Waiting on Jesus to speak faith into you requires you to know what His answer is. If He is having you to wait because it isn’t time yet, then you need to just be patient. If you are waiting and He has already told you “no,” then your waiting won’t change His mind. If you are waiting because He is testing you to see if you will go ahead and do it without Him, then you need to be praying and asking Him to empower you to not DO ANYTHING until He gives you the faith to BELIEVE.

  • 5. LOVE:
  • To pray continually is what LOVE is all about; you don’t want to be taking actions that aren’t win/win for everyone involved. A lot of the time you find yourself waiting for Jesus’ faith will be because you are about to take an action that isn’t win/win. While you are waiting for Jesus to speak faith into you, you need to be going over your ideas, plans, goals, dreams, and desires to see if there is anything in them that God isn’t pleased with. This is the best way for you to find out WHY you are having to wait for Jesus’ faith; often it is because of a LOVE issue.

  • 6. FAITH-ACTION:
  • To pray continually means that as you join Jesus in FAITH-ACTION, you are constantly talking to Him about each move you make. It is so easy to get Jesus’ faith to believe, get an okay from your conscience through the Holy Spirit, or get an idea popping up in your mind from Jesus and then run with it. This causes you to leave Jesus and go do it on your own. FAITH-ACTION is a relationship with Jesus; you and He must be working together. FAITH-ACTION is for you to learn how to become a mature, adult child of God. This is a procedure of using spiritual tools, methods, principles, and actions IN THE SPIRIT REALM.

Once You Get A Brilliant Idea
John 15:5 (NIV) I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man REMAINS in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; APART from Me you can do nothing. When you get a wonderful idea from Jesus concerning an action you should take, that is just the beginning of your relationship with Him. The way you take the action, the motive you have for doing it, the way you involve other people, and the way you carry it out, all need Jesus’ input. However, the excitement of getting a brilliant idea can send you off on your own.

Faith-Action
Rom 1:21 (NIV) For although they knew God, they neither glorified Him as God nor gave thanks to Him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Taking a wonderful action after much dreaming, goal setting, researching, and allowing Jesus to guide you through it all is a great thing. You and Jesus have put together something that has a lot of potential. Now, it is time to appreciate all He has done to bring you to this place.

FAITH-ACTION isn’t just formulating a dream or a goal that is completely approved by God. It isn’t just putting together a plan that only God could have come up with. It is also a FAITH-ACTION of praise, worship, thankgiving, appreciation, and fellowship. Words need to flow out of your mouth to God and to the people around you that express the individual aspects of getting to this place. The more you ask Jesus to help you notice, identify, and acknowledge each thing God does for you, the greater each action you take will be. Keep some kind of mental or written record of these miracles, blessings, brilliant ideas, and circumstancial enhancements that God did for you.
