YOUR STRENGTH
The ASK Key
You Have To ASK
Rev 3:20 (NIV) Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me. You can’t live the wonderful, dynamic, awesome Christian life without Jesus; AND, He won’t force your will-power and make you get His help. You can keep on trying to change and do better, as a Christian; or, you can use your will-power to open the door and let Jesus HELP you live the Christian life. You may be stuborn, determined, and strong-willed, but, that will only make your struggles and failures as a Christian last longer. ALL you have to do is ASK Jesus to come in, SEEK His help, and KNOCK on the doors of opportunities to share Him with others. THEN your Christian life will be empowered to help you live a blessed, healed, and joyous life.
You Have To ASK Because Of Your God-Given Free Will
2 Pet 3:9 (NIV) The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not WANTING ANYONE to perish, but EVERYONE to come to repentance. Your will-power is a God-given free will; God doesn’t WANT you to spend an eternity in hell. But, your will-power is so free that you can do things against God’s will-power. But, if you use The Three Keys To All Of Christianity, you will be opening the door to the most incredible life beyond anything you ever hoped for.
You Have To ASK Because You Are Free
John 8:36 (NIV) So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. The moment you were born again, your will-power was set free; originally, when you were born as a human, you started out with a God-given free will. But, prior to salvation and justification, Satan, the world, and your body pushed you, tempted you, addicted you, and enslaved you; you lost the freedom of your will-power. But, being born again gave it back to you! However, now that you are free as a Christian, you have to ASK for EVERYTHING you get from God. You aren’t free from your human, animalistic, selfish body; but, you are FREE to use your will-power to get Jesus’ help to win over it.

You Have To ASK Because Jesus Is Knocking
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock: Jesus has the power and authority to force you; but, He doesn’t. Mat 28:18 (NIV) Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.” Even though He could turn you into a robot or a slave, He waits for your moment-by-moment, issue-by-issue will-power actions. Do you WILL to live your life on your own; or, do you WANT His help? But, you can’t ONLY make a general request for His help. Your free will-power is always honored by God. So, you can’t just set a general rule that you always want His help. You have to use your free will-power and ASK for His help with every single issue you face. It is a moment-by-moment, issue-by-issue relationship you establish or ignore all day long. You are always free to accept or ignore Jesus’ constant offer of help.
You Have To ASK Because Jesus Is Waiting
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door: If you use your will-power to apply the ASK key and invite Jesus into an issue, you have just OPENED THE DOOR. But, it is just OPEN for Him to come into that situation at that moment. If you make ASKING a part of your daily lifestyle, then your will-power is enhanced by Jesus’ will-power. Together you and He will accomplish things you never dreamed possible.
You Must Want A Close Relationship With Jesus
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me: All during your day, your attitudes can change toward your friendships, your marriage, your family, your business, and your career. One moment you can use your will-power to handle things yourself; and, the next moment you can use it to ASK Jesus for His help. But, as you learn to love Him, trust Him, Believe in Him, and see how wonderful He is, it will be much easier for you to submit your will-power to Him.
