Taking Advantage Of The Belt Of Truth
Through Scriptures

1. The belt of truth is functioning when our lives are an open book:

John 3:21 (NIV) But whoever lives by The Truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.

2. The belt of truth is functioning when our spirit starts living The Truth:

John 4:23-24 (NIV) Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is Spirit, and His worshipers MUST worship in Spirit and in truth.

3. The belt of truth is functioning when we work for the honor of God:

John 7:18 (NIV) He who speaks on his own does so to gain honor for himself, but he who works for the honor of the One Who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him.

4. The belt of truth is functioning when freedom comes:

John 8:32 (NIV) Then you will know The Truth, and The Truth will set you free.

5. The belt of truth is functioning when we aren’t one of the devil’s people:

John 8:44-45 (NIV) You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to The Truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Yet because I tell The Truth, you do not believe Me!

6. The belt of truth is functioning when we put Jesus on:

John 14:6 (NIV) Jesus answered, “I am the way and The Truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

7. The belt of truth is functioning when
we allow the Holy Spirit to be our source of truth:

John 14:16-17 (NIV) And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever-- the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you know Him, for He lives with you and will be in you. John 16:13 (NIV) But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into ALL truth. He will not speak on His own; He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come.

8. The belt of truth is functioning when we testify about Jesus:

John 15:26 (NIV) When the Counselor comes, Whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth Who goes out from the Father, He will testify about Me.

9. The belt of truth is functioning when
we base our philosophies, beliefs, and life on the Bible:

John 17:17 (NIV) Sanctify them by The Truth; your word is truth.
