As you go about your day, you meet people, talk to people, do business with people, and build relationships with people. Jesus wants us to use those contacts for spiritual purposes even more than for human purposes. If we are putting more emphasis on our human needs and interests, then we are cheating ourselves and those around us. You need to be helping a few people discover the wonderful benefits of Christianity. Some people will only see you once for a short moment. Others you will spend a lot of time with. Those who cross paths with you for a short moment, need a quick touch from Jesus. Those you will be able to build a relationship with can get a lot more from you.

Jesus won’t give you something to say to everyone you cross paths with. But, if you ask Him to help you know something about those people you are just meeting for a moment, He will give you special things to quickly drop into their lives. Jesus knows what every one of these people are going through. He may not tell you why you should say it; but, He will give you some spiritual statement to make to some casual acquaintance. You will have to KEEP asking Jesus to give you things to say and then ask Him to empower you to say them. The more you keep asking and LOOKING for His input, the more you will be used to help people who are just passing through your life.

Those you want to build a spiritual relationship with must be people who are willing to allow you to talk to them about spiritual issues. As you are talking to them about spiritual things, you need to be aware of whether or not they are able to understand spiritual concepts. If they can’t understand spiritual things or just want to be your friend and only talk about human and world subjects, then you need to move on to someone who will let you talk to them about the benefits of Christianity.

The most powerful way of getting ready for longer term spiritual relationships is for you to develop a list of all the wonderful things Jesus has done for you. If you not only use this list as a way to be thankful and appreciate God, you can start seeing ways of using these things in your conversation with others. As you become excited about these miracles, blessings, and breakthroughs, it helps you want to tell people about them. The more you add different things to your list, the more things you have to include in your conversations.

You can take the information found in “The Power Life” courses and go over it with those who want to join Jesus in Christianity. However, it is VERY important that you share how much Jesus has helped you, as you go through these courses. Your miracles and experiences with your heavenly Father are extremely important information. It lets your unsaved friends hear things you know for a fact are true.

“The Power Life” study has two parts to it. These two parts are helpful in showing your unsaved friends things from the Biblical perspective that are vital. The first part is called: “Learning About The Power Life” courses. It will help you show them the benefits. The second part is called: “How To Get, Keep, Live, And Mature In The Power Life.” It will provide you and them the instructions for each step into and through their new life. Without these courses, you and they may not have the Biblical steps into salvation. But always keep in mind, as you are taking them through these courses, your life and your experiences with God are very valuable and helpful. These courses coupled with your relationship with God can assist in bringing them to a decision to become a Christian.
