Phil 2:3-4 (NIV) Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. This isn’t a human assignment; this is going to take the power of God to make it happen. As you go about your day, you are going to have to have a special power from God to help you make these kinds of decisions. So, God gives you a special power so you and He can make this happen.

Rom 8:13-14 (NIV) For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, BECAUSE those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. This is FAITH-ACTION; you are joining Jesus through the Holy Spirit and winning over your body. You have used The Three Keys To All Christianity and five of The Six Biblical Principles to bring you to the place where you and Jesus are ready to live out a Biblical principle. You are ready for results, success, and The Victorious Christian Life.

Jesus isn’t expecting YOU to submit your body to Him using human effort OR world training. NOTHING you learned about how to succeed in the world will work in Christianity. EVERYTHING you learned in the world involved the skills, abilities, talents, resources, and effort of humans. Either you or some other human had to do whatever you needed done. Christianity is all about you and God; you are being taught by Jesus how to have a close relationship with your heavenly Father. He is teaching you how to live as a spirit being and as a child of God.

Here is a simple example of how things work in the spirit realm: Mat 17:19-20 (NIV) Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?” He replied, “Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have FAITH as small as a mustard seed, you can SAY to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” It wouldn’t take years, a lot of earth-moving machinery, and millions of dollars to do it. You would just stand there and tell it to move and it would move! There would have to be a lot of spiritual things in place for this to happen; but, this is what you are being prepared and trained for.

If you DESIRED to show off and demonstrate your spiritual power by telling a mountain to move, it would be an embarrasing momement; you were DESIRING the wrong thing. If you DECIDED to go command a mountain to move, it wouldn’t do it. But, if you knew how to hear God’s voice, were in a child-like spiritual condition, and God TOLD you to go move the mountain, it would move. It would move just by you speaking to it and telling it to move. If all the spiritual truths and principles are in place in your life, nothing will be impossible for you. Jesus is teaching you how to have the right DESIRES so nothing will be impossible for you.

You may be one of the most consciencous, determined, dedicated students in the world. You may have been able to push, drive, and force yourself to STUDY and get some of the best grades of all students. BUT, NONE of those characteristics are going to help you in Christianity. As a matter of fact, they may turn out to be your worst nightmare. Mat 18:3 (NIV) And He said: “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” But, by ASKING, SEEKING, And KNOCKING, Jesus will empower you to not only STUDY the Bible, He will work through the Holy Spirit and empower you to understand it.

If you have great people skills, know how to negotiate, manipulate, convince, and sell people on things, and can TYPICALLY get anything you want, NONE of that will work on God. You won’t be able to out think Him, out argue Him, or be able to manipulate Him. He is only interested in your good; He is only interested in a love relationship with you. He won’t do business with you, negotiate with you, or let you run the relationship. You are now learning how to respect and love your heavenly Father. He plans on giving you incredible opportunities in eternity. He wants to provide you with great power and authority. But, He wants you to be praying and asking for those things you need now so you will be ready for all that responsibility in eternity.

You may have incredible faith in yourself; you may be one of the most confident people on the planet. You may have been able to do some of the most incredible things that any human has ever done. You may have the most money, possessions, positions, power, prestige, popularity, pleasure, and accomplishments that any human has ever produced and accumulated. But, until you lay it all down and allow your heavenly Father to tell you the truth about life, you will fail here and in eternity. If you will properly look at all God has given you, you will be able to see His generosity, honesty, and integrity. If will let Him, Jesus will speak faith into you for those things your heavenly Father has decided are good for you. Then you will be able to BELIEVE that you have that thing God wanted you to have.

You may have been a very generous, giving person all of your life. You may have helped more people than anyone else. You may have been so generous that you don’t have all that much yourself; you have given it all away. But, unknown to you, your heart has required payment for all that generosity. It may only be a desire for a little appreciation, a small complement, or a little bit of reciprocation. But, there has always been something you were trying to get out of your generosity. It isn’t until you expect NOTHING in return that you get eternal credit for your love and care. God isn’t going to make you a doormat for people to walk on; but, He does require you to only involve yourself in win/win situations.

Once Jesus has helped, trained, and empowered you to take advantage of The Six Biblical Principles, you will see incredible things start happening in your life. But, as you can see, it is going to take a lot of ASKING, SEEKING, And KNOCKING before you are able to have godly DESIRES, STUDIES, PRAYERS, BELIEF, LOVE, and FAITH-ACTION. It has taken quite a journey for you to get to this concept of FAITH-ACTION. AND, it has taken a lot of applying The Three Keys To All Of Christianity. But, you get to FAITH-ACTION while learning to have a close and intimate relationship with God.

As you might have noticed, The Six Biblical Principles aren’t about you getting what you think you need. It is about you learning that only God knows what is best for you. But, if you don’t BELIEVE that, you won’t like applying The Three Keys To All Of Christianity. You won’t be willing to take advantage of The Six Biblical Principles. You may want to go back to going after those things you think you need. You may feel like you are missing out on things that would really bless, prosper, and bring you into success. But, there is ONE THING you need to realize: Those things you get outside of God WILL have LONGTERM side effects that will hurt, damage, and may even destroy you. The ONLY reason God won’t give you something IS because it won’t END UP being good for you.
