Rom 8:14 (NIV) Because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. As you can see, it is the normal, natural thing for God’s children to be led by the Spirit of God. Jesus, through the Holy Spirit, empowers you to live out The Six Biblical Principles. God NEVER tells you to do ANYTHING that He doesn’t provide you with the equipment and power to do it. The Holy Spirit is inside you ready to bring all of Jesus’ provisions and power to you.

James 2:17 (NIV) In the same way, FAITH by itself, if it is not accompanied by ACTION, is dead. If Jesus leads you and empowers you to DESIRE, STUDY, PRAY, BELIEVE, and LOVE, the reason He did all that was so you and He would be able to work together for you to take FAITH-ACTION. It isn’t until you start living all of Jesus’ truths that you have fulfilled His purpose.

Jesus said in Matthew 7:24-27 (NIV): “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”

Jesus isn’t expecting YOU to submit your body to Him without all His provisions. John 14:16-17 (NIV) And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever--the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you know Him, for He lives with you and will be in you. So, when Jesus went back to heaven, God sent the Holy Spirit to earth so as to continue Jesus’ work through all of His children.

John 14:12-14 (NIV) I tell you the truth, anyone who has FAITH in Me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask Me for anything in My name, and I will do it. It isn’t just a matter of you being set free from your struggles with spirituality, it is you getting the breakthough so you and Jesus can share these breakthroughs with others.

Acts 1:8 (NIV) But you will receive POWER when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Witnesses are people who have been transformed by Jesus; they have experienced salvation and witnessed it for themselves. They have experienced many breakthroughs and witnessed them in their lives. They have moved through The Six Biblical Principles and are taking FAITH-ACTION on many wonderful provisions of God. They are witnesses because they have PERSONALLY experienced the love, grace, and provisions of God. They are going around telling people (witnessing) what THEY have experienced through Jesus.

Acts 3:12 (NIV) When Peter saw this, he said to them: “Men of Israel, why does this surprise you? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? Peter DESIRED to “do what it took” to have his needs met so he could share his breakthroughs with others. He DESIRED it so much that he obeyed Jesus’ instructions: Acts 1:4 (NIV) On one occasion, while He (Jesus) was eating with them, He gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift (of the Holy Spirit) My Father promised, which you have heard Me speak about.

2 Tim 3:16-17 (NIV) All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful (powerful) for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. You aren’t just learning some information; you are learning truths that are real and powerful. When you read and study the Bible you are being exposed to works that transform you, create miracles in you, and empwer you to live a dynamic life in Jesus. Jesus, through the Holy Spirit, is teaching you HOW to start living as a spirit being who IS a child of God. He is getting your ready for God’s eternal Kingdom.

James 4:1 (NIV) What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? Here is human effort and world training at its “best.” We are told: “Believe in your self;” “you can be anything YOU want to be;” “you can accomplish anything you set your mind on;” and, “you deserve the very best.” So, what has happened out in the real world? We have people walking over the top of people, defeating people, winning over people, selling them things they don’t need or want, and cheating them if they can get by with it.

James 4:2a (NIV) You want something but don’t get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. Here is a person who is still controlled by their body. They are animalistic, selfish, self-centered, and aggressive. Do these aggressive people get what they are trying to get? No, they run into other aggressive people in large numbers who are doing the same things. What happens is, they cancel each other out. We only win when we are able to cooperate, team up, unify, and create win/win situations for everyone involved.

James 4:2b (NIV) You do not HAVE, BECAUSE you do not ask God. Here is how REAL life works; it is the PRAYING person who ONLY gets those things that are good for them. Not things that look good or THEY think are good for them. For the LONG RUN, in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him (Rom 8:28). Prayer is your ONLY way for you to invite God to be involved in your life. Prayer is the ONLY way for you to specifically invite God into each need. AND, when you do, you get a God Who only gives GOOD gifts to those who ask Him (Mat 7:11)! You need the Holy Spirit to help you pray the right prayers. Rom 8:26 (NIV) In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.

If you want to have a relationship with God, then you have to see, understand, and accept His attitudes and character. You must allow yourself to see His love, honesty, generosity, integrity, fairness, and grace. If there is any doubt in your mind that He is truthful, trustworthy, and completely dependable, then you and He will have a relationship problem.

John 16:14 (NIV) He (the Holy Spirit) will bring glory to Me by taking from what is Mine and making it known to you. Jesus, through the Holy Spirit, can put faith into you so as to empower you to BELIEVE in your heavenly Father’s purity, holiness, righteousness, godliness, and perfection. Jesus’ faith can help you see that God is ONLY good; God’s character and attitudes are exactily like we want to be treated. Believing in God is to accept, trust, depend, and rely on His honesty and integrity. He will only build His relationship with you in truth.

James 4:3 (NIV) When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. James 4:1-2 are all about you trying to get your needs met through human effort and world training. Instead of ASKING God, you use all your skills, world training, abilities, talents, and efforts to get what you want. BUT THEN, you finally learn that you are going to have to ASK God if you are going to get those things that are only good for you and those around you. So, you ASK and still don’t get what you ASKED for. Why? Because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on YOUR pleasures.

Rom 5:5b (NIV) God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, Whom He has given us. God’s LOVE empowers you to move into a life of win/win relationships. When you get something from God, you SHARE it with as many people as you can.

Rom 8:27 (NIV) And He Who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will. The Holy Spirit helps you ONLY seek those things that are according to God’s will. He helps you know that God is your only source of total good. So, let’s look at The Six Biblical Principles as the Holy Spirit takes the first five and leads you into God’s will through Jesus.

If you allow Jesus to help you ONLY DESIRE those things that are good for you and those around you, then you are in a position to have God give it to you. If you allow Jesus to help you STUDY and discover all His provisions that are listed in the Bible, then it puts you in a place where you can receive them from God. If you allow Jesus to help you PRAY the right prayers, then you are ASKING for only good things for you. This puts in line for the possibility of getting God’s good things. AND, if you allow Jesus to speak faith into you, that will be the moment when you will BELIEVE and know that you HAVE that good thing from God.

Allowing Jesus to give you the right DESIRES, give you the real truths of the Bible through STUDY, give you the correct PRAYERS for what to ASK for, then you WILL experience His faith spoken into your heart. You will be empowered to BELIEVE that you HAVE what you have been seeking. Now, what are you going to do with this knowledge that Jesus’ faith has spoken into you? First, you have to allow Jesus to check your heart and make sure you are getting this provision so you can create win/win situations for all who are involved. If your heart passes that test, then you are ready to join Jesus in going out into life and living on the basis of the fact that you do have it. This is when you take FAITH-ACTION and join Jesus in putting into practice those things God HAS given you.
