In the Resistance Courses, you were fighting wrong, bad, and evil things trying to get into your life like you are here. But, you were fighting things that were wrong, bad, and evil that you were routinely and purposely allowing to come in. It was your habit, your lifestyle, and your purpose to allow them in. In these Prevention Courses, you are fighting thing you NEVER wanted to come in; but, you didn’t know how to “do what it takes” to keep them out. In the Resistance Courses, you USED TO want them in. In the Prevention Courses, you NEVER wanted them in, in the first place.

Rom 7:15 (NIV) I do not understand what I do. For what I WANT to do I do not do, but what I HATE I do. This is different than Rom 1:32 (NIV) Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. In the Resistance Courses, you were embracing things God and the Bible are against like the people were doing in Romans 1:32 above. The Holy Spirit was speaking against them to your conscience; but, you still wanted to do them anyway. That is the way we all lived; that is what made us sinners. We willfully, purposely did things our conscience was telling us were wrong.

Now you are letting Jesus take you into those areas where you really didn’t want to be living like that but were anyway. Rom 7:18 (NIV) I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have THE DESIRE to do what is good, but I CANNOT carry it out. This is a much better place to be; your attitudes and character are in line with the will and wishes of Jesus. You just don’t know how to yield to His power to win against wrong, bad, and evil. Rom 7:22-23 (NIV) For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members.

Eph 6:10-11 (NIV) Finally, BE STRONG in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God SO THAT you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. Things change when you start allowing Jesus to empower you to do what His Bible tells you to do. Once your start studying the Bible and Biblical principles, Jesus teaches you powerful things that enable you to live out those things you knew to do but couldn’t make them happen.

1. If it is your DESIRE to start winning over all wrong, bad, and evil things, then that desire will help start you on a journey in that direction.


2. If you STUDY, then the journey that DESIRE started you on will use the Bible to put you on the right path.


3. If you PRAY, then that will invite Jesus into your journey; He will join you and help you understand the meaning of the Bible so you can interpret all the road signs.


4. If you BELIEVE, then that means you have allowed Jesus to speak faith into you so you know you have the power for the journey.


5. If you LOVE, then you will take others on the journey with you.


6. If you take FAITH-ACTION, then you ACTUALLY get on the path and start heading in the right direction into victory. Being trained by Jesus in these principles are all theoretical until you move into faith-action and love.

These six things are necessary for you to be able to get Jesus’ help. He requires these things so as to not do anything to you that you don’t want Him to. And He requires them so you will learn how live as a mature, adult child of God.
