Jesus, since whoever wants to save his life will lose it, let me be one of those who loses his life for You and for the gospel so I will save it (Mark 8:35).

By Being Willing To Trade
Tell me the truth, Jesus, and help me accept that if I am one of those who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for You and the gospel I will not fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age (homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields--and with them, persecutions) and in the age to come, eternal life (Mark 10:29-30). Help me be willing to make any sacrifices necessary for You and the gospel.

By Being Willing To Go To A Lot Of Places
Jesus, help me do like Peter and John when they had testified and proclaimed the word of the Lord, they returned to Jerusalem, preaching the gospel in many Samaritan villages (Acts 8:25). Help me go wherever You want me to go.

By The Gospel Taking Priority Over Our Own Life.
Jesus, make it true of me that I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task You have given me--the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace (Acts 20:24).

By Presenting The Elements Of The Gospel Message.
Jesus, make me a servant of You, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God--the gospel He promised beforehand through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures regarding You, His Son, Who as to Your human nature was a descendant of David, and Who through the Spirit of holiness was declared with power to be the Son of God by Your resurrection from the dead: You, Jesus Christ, my Lord (Rom 1:1-4).

By Presenting The Power Of God For Salvation.
Jesus, make this be my attitude that I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile (Rom 1:16).

By Presenting A Righteousness That Can Be Obtained By Faith.
Jesus, help me present the gospel to every person; for in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith (Rom 1:17).”

By Sticking With Your Purpose.
For You, Jesus, did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel--not with words of human wisdom, lest Your cross be emptied of its power. Yet when I preach the gospel, I cannot boast, for I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel! If I preach voluntarily, I have a reward; if not voluntarily, I am simply discharging the trust committed to me. What then is my reward? Just this: that in preaching the gospel I may offer it free of charge, and so not make use of my rights in preaching it. Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible (1 Cor 1:17-19).
