Uses these nine courses to take me into Your great work that goes in me, for me, with me, and through me. Teach me how to take advantage of all Your provisions and power for a successful life.

Jesus, teach me that it is one thing to get the power to live the new life You give those who become Christians. It is another thing to know how to take advantage of that power. Show me that just because I have electricity connected to my home doesn’t force me to use it. I need to plug my TV, phone chargers, vacuum, and refrigerator into the wall receptacles. Just like I need to buy a TV, vacuum, and refrigerator so as to take advantage of the electricity in my home, show me that I need to learn how to get the equipment You have to offer so as to make my life better. Help me see the importance of the nine Victorious Living Courses.

Jesus, help understand Your exciting plan or strategy for helping me live a powerful and successful way of life. Help me see that You use a technique that is so dynamic that it will help me become much more than you ever dreamed possible. Let these courses introduce me into Your strategy for making sure I become the very best in all I aspire to be and do.

Jesus, teach me the difference between my thoughts and feelings and those things originating from my body, the world, and the devil. Help me realize that just because a thought or feeling comes to me doesn’t mean it originated from my spirit. Make it clear to me that I am a spirit being, I have a soul, and I live in a body. Thoughts and feelings flow from outside my body and influence my mind and heart. Jesus, help me see the difference between the new person You have made me into and the old desires and emotions that are still resident in my body.

It this course, Jesus, help me understand the You will take me from being delivered from wrong, bad, and evil things into Your process of crowding them out with right, good, and righteous things. Rather than me always dealing with what is wrong with me, You show me how to start dealing with what You want to make right in me. Show me that You have wonderful plans for my life; You want to lift me up to a whole new level of living.

Jesus, I have been submitting myself to my body, other people, things that Satan has been tempting me with, and to things that circumstances have forced on me. Show me that You are going to be using this study to teach and empower me to break free from wrong, bad, and evil things I have been submitting myself to.

Jesus, help me see the You will use this first study to help me submit my emotions to You. Rather than me being driven by fear, depression, hopelessness, discouragement, or doubt, You will train and empower me to yield to love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Jesus, show me that You will be teaching me how to get my body to cooperate with my new spirit’s desires. I will be able to make my body stop driving me into doing things I don’t want to do. And, You will empower me to be able to force it to start yielding to Your plans for me. Help me see that in this course I will find a freedom that I have never had before.

Jesus, show me that You will teach me how to have attitudes that advance me into great success in life. Attitudes govern what kind of person I am and how I react to the world around me. You will give me good attitudes that open all kinds of great opportunities and successes. In this course, show me that You will be teaching and empowering me to get the kind of attitudes I need for winning at life.
