God, I know You allow evil people time to repent of their evil ways; but, in the mean time they are hurting me. Help me see how You are working with them and with me at the same time. Show me how You are taking the challenges they are creating in my life and teaching me. Help me learn how to deal with evil using Your principles and training. Help me take advantage of their evil by using my relationship with You to win. Empower me to use Your procedures to handle everything they try to do to me. Give me great knowledge, foreknowledge of the future, understanding, wisdom, power, and love. Make me into a person who can take the most evil person and handle them the way You want them handled.

God, You take the challenges wicked people create in my life and use them to teach me through them. Help me learn how to deal with evil while using Your principles and training. Help me take advantage of their evil by using my relationship with You to win. Empower me to use Your procedures to handle everything they try to do to me and others. Give me great knowledge, foreknowledge of the future, understanding, wisdom, power, and love. Make me into a person who can handle evil people the way You want them handled. Rather than me trying to handle evil people using my techniques, help me see there is no one I can turn to but You. Jesus told me how to treat evil people in His sermon in Matthew chapters 5 through 7. But, it is going to take a lot of prayer and Your power to be able to live like that. Teach me that as long as I keep using my procedures, God will hold back and wait for me to realize I need Him and turn to Him.

Psa 10:2 (NIV) In his arrogance the wicked man hunts down the weak, who are caught in the schemes he devises. Lord, the wicked can do great damage to the weak; but, Your strength is made perfect in weakness. The wicked think they are getting away with all they are doing; but, You are just giving them a time to repent. They are compounding their wickedness; and, increasing it each day. They are laughing at the weak who are their prey thinking they are winning. They misunderstand Your grace and mercy and rejoice because of the people who are caught in their schemes. They are getting rich by loving things and using people. They don’t realize that You resist the proud and give grace to the humble. Help me learn and teach others that You are the Champion of the weak.

Psa 10:3 (NIV) He boasts of the cravings of his heart; he blesses the greedy and reviles the LORD. Heavenly Father, the wicked are constantly boasting in the evil cravings of their hearts. They applaud the greedy. They revile Your Name. They hate You and Your people. They desecrate the hearts of those who what to be pure. They are continually speaking against You and all You stand for. They make fun of all who call on Your Name. They are trying to empty all Your meeting places. They are spending all their time bringing accusations against the righteousness You provide. They hate Your Son. They try to steal all of the time Your people should be devoting to You. BUT, You are using all their schemes and organizations to teach me how to win against their evil by using the power of good. Help me not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good (Rom 12:21).

Psa 10:4 (NIV) In his pride the wicked does not seek Him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God. God, the wicked think they are too good and too smart to seek after You. They have crowded out all thoughts of You and Your ways. They are doing their best to crowd out the thoughts of You in all the people of the earth. They are filling the educational systems with lies about all You have made. They are pushing the governmental systems to remove reference to You from all public places. They won’t seek You and they try to not let anyone else seek You either. Help me defeat all their efforts and be used to bring You back into the schools, governmental systems, entertainment, businesses, and all of society. Help Your people to win over all evil attempts. Help me to see that no matter how successful they appear to be, You will use me and others to win over them.

Psa 10:5 (NIV) His ways are always prosperous; he is haughty and Your laws are far from him; he sneers at all his enemies. God, I can be impressed with the fact that the wicked are making vast amounts of money and are gaining high positions of influence. I can see them as being invincible to all who try to defeat them. They act like Your laws do not apply to them; and, it sometimes looks like they aren’t being governed by them. They make fun of all who serve You; and, sometimes I am influenced by their opinions. They think there is no God Who can take them down; and, Your giving them time to repent can cause me to agree with them. But, help me see that You will work through me to set people free from their evil. Let the power of Your Word flow through me to defeat everything they are trying to do.

Psa 10:6 (NIV) He says to himself, “Nothing will shake me; I'll always be happy and never have trouble.” God, they are bragging about their power and positions. They think they will always have happiness and never face defeat. They see all this success at polluting society as guaranteeing their future happiness. They think they have no enemies. They consider themselves as being too powerful to be brought down. BUT, You are empowering me and others to use their efforts to show people the difference between them and You. The procedures they use to get where they are, hurts people. You and I will show the hurt people a way to be involved in Your win/win way of life. Your principles will shine into the darkness of the evil person’s methods and set these damaged people free. Help me draw these people out of their companies, out of their “friendships,” out of their influence, and out of their power.

Psa 10:7 (NIV) His mouth is full of curses and lies and threats; trouble and evil are under his tongue. God, the wicked feel free to say anything they want. They see no need to control the words of their mouth. They know You are against such words; yet, they curse, lie, and threaten everyone around them. They have no shame for the trouble they are causing. They feel no wrong with the evil they are inflicting against others. BUT, that is their weakness; that is the thing that will cause people to want to get away from them. You are giving me a life of love, care, help, compassion, and sharing. You will keep empowering me to help people be set free from these evil people. You will break this evil power over them. You will set them free from being impressed with evil. You will set them on a new path that will be wonderful, honest, loving, unifying, and successful.

Psa 10:8 (NIV) He lies in wait near the villages; from ambush he murders the innocent, watching in secret for his victims. God, these evil people steal children from their homes and women from their families. They put them in sex slavery and sell their bodies without any fear. They are murdering innocent people with drugs and alcohol. They are destroying families without any remorse. They are currently watching in secret for new victims. They have no plans to stop their destruction. BUT, You are empowering me and others to pray against them; You are empowering me to train people to go set them free; You are empowering me to find these damaged people and give them Your new life; and, You are empowering me to train these people to go out and do the same for others. You are forming an army of righteous people to overwhem these evil people.

Psa 10:9 (NIV) He lies in wait like a lion in cover; he lies in wait to catch the helpless; he catches the helpless and drags them off in his net. God, the wicked of this generation are like lions in secret cover. They have no compassion for the helpless. All they care about is their own appetite. They never see the damage they are doing to the helpless. They freely drag them off to slavery, addiction, depravity, and death. Let me and all Your people see that we are vital to these victims. You are their only hope for protection and deliverance. Help me to devote my time, effort, and money to being a part of Your people. Let me go forth in great power and effectiveness. Empower me to care about these victims and go set them free. Let me win against evil and evil people. Give me Your power, Your love, Your ministry, and Your message of deliverance.

Psa 10:10 (NIV) His victims are crushed, they collapse; they fall under his strength. God, evil is too powerful for humans to resist on their own. Its victims have no way to save themselves. The victims know they are in horrible trouble; but, no one seems to be willing to hear their cry. They can’t help themselves and those who should love them sometimes refuse to get involved. Help me not be impressed with their strength; help me not be intimidated by their viciousness; and, help me not be afraid of what they might do to me. Let me go forth and face them head on. Let me be like David was with Goliath and face them on their own battle field. Let me know that You are my power, my skill, my wisdom, and my victory. Help me to fight for Your cause and the cause of these innocent victims.

Psa 10:11 (NIV) He says to himself, “God has forgotten; He covers His face and never sees.” God, the wicked think that You have either forgotten or are covering Your face so You won’t see. He thinks he is going unnoticed. He thinks that You, the God of all power, are going to keep letting him go on untouched. He thinks that the reason he has been so successful is because You won’t do anything about it; but, You have already begun Your work. You have prepared people who are a mighty army against him. You have armed me with the power of prayer, the power of Your truth; the power of Your salvation; and the power of Your ministry. Send me and all of Your people against all these evil people are doing. Let me defeat their efforts by showing the whole earth how great You are and all You want to do to set them free.

Psa 10:12 (NIV) Arise, LORD! Lift up Your hand, O God. Do not forget the helpless. God, empower Your people with Your power to love. Change my heart so I will care about what is going on. You won’t do it without me; and, I can’t do it without You. Lift up Your hand first of all to me. Transform my life so I will do what I have been called to do. I know it isn’t You Who has forgotten the helpless; I know it is me. You have provided me with weapons that are powerful. You have given them to me so I would use them to pull down strongholds. The weapons I fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds (2 Cor 10:4). Help me believe and use this Scripture for Your glory and honor.

You see what is going on; I see what is going on. I think I am waiting on You; and, You are, in fact, waiting on me. You have given me all the equipment to do this work. First of all, I lack the love to respond to the situation. Open my heart to this situation. Help me love You so much that I will get involved in the devastation the wicked are creating. I, as Your child, am from God and have overcome them, because the One Who is in me is greater than the one who is in the world (1 John 4:4). All power has been given to Jesus; Jesus is alive in me; His ministry is at work in and through me; and, I can do all things through Him Who is strengthening me (Phil 4:13).

Psa 10:13 (NIV) Why does the wicked man revile God? Why does he say to himself, “He won't call me to account”? I think I am the reason why the wicked man is reviling You, God. My delay in doing what it takes to set these people free is giving him the impression that he is safe. My not making myself available to You is giving him time to do what he wants to do. I now make myself available to You to call him into account. He can say or think what he wants to; but, He is wrong. You will use me and others of Your people to put a stop to all these atrocities. I open my heart to Your provisions. Cleanse me for everything that is interfering with Your work in and through me.

Psa 10:14 (NIV) But You, O God, do see trouble and grief; You consider it to take it in hand. The victim commits himself to You; You are the helper of the fatherless. God, I know it isn’t You Who is failing the people of this world; I know You care. I know You see the trouble and grief that these people are suffering. I know You want to take it all in Your hands. These victims have been calling out to You and I haven’t offered to give You my body to handle it with. I am here to learn how to love a planet of people. I am here to learn how to love each individual person. I am here to learn how to be a channel through which You flow to the needs of Your people.

You already knew how to do all these things. If it were all going to be done by You alone, You didn’t need to create me. You created me to show forth Your glory, Your power, Your love, and Your principles. You want to use me to care and respond. You are the helper of the fatherless. I am the channel through which that help flows. I give myself to You. Here I am, God, send me. I say “yes” to the response You have for these troubled and grieving people. I say “yes” to helping all who have committed themselves to You.

Psa 10:15 (NIV) Break the arm of the wicked and evil man; call him to account for his wickedness that would not be found out. God, use me to break the arm of the wicked and evil men. You have called me to care what happens to them. It is me who needs to stand up and fight the good fight of faith. It is me who needs to use spiritual warfare to yield to the Holy Spirit’s power, wisdom, and training. Open me up to all You have for me. Let’s do a collaborative work in the world that drives out the wicked and their effect on people.

I believe in You; I know I am nothing in myself; but, I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me. You didn’t send me forth to spread Your message of the gospel without equipping me to do the job. Your power has been made available to drive Satan out of the lives of the people who are willing. Prepare the way for us, O God. Bring the wicked person into account. Ferret out his deeds for all to see. Make it obvious that his deeds are evil and should be defeated.

Psa 10:16 (NIV) The LORD is King for ever and ever; the nations will perish from His land. Those people in each nation who refuse to serve You must perish, Heavenly Father. Those who resist Your Name and Your message must be rendered powerless. Please keep them from being able to block Your message. Let everyone who wants to hear it--hear it. Everyone must have a chance to know Who You are and what You are offering them. Please give them a complete opportunity.
