PRAYER FOR VERSE ONE: Lord, I have all kinds of enemies. Some come in the form of temptations offered by others. Some come in the form of people who don’t like me. And, some come in the form of things I want that I shouldn’t want. I want You to know that I desire to serve You and not yield to any type of temptation or attack. It is my desire to receive Your power to conduct myself in a godly fashion. I am running to You for help. I know I am inadequate to handle any of these things by myself. I come to You for protection. My prayer is to You for being saved and delivered from everything that is pursuing me.

PRAYER FOR VERSE TWO: All these problems I face are bigger than I am. I am turning to You because they are too much for me. I can’t just accept them as the way life is. These things will destroy me. There is no hope for me, if You don’t intervene. Life will be unbearable and I will end up being shut down to the place where I will no longer be able to minister for You.

PRAYER FOR VERSE THREE: God, I feel that this is happening without me having done anything to cause it. It looks to me that this is happening in spite of my being faithful to You. I believe that You have been protecting me from committing sins against You. I can’t think of anything I have done that You are convicting me of.

PRAYER FOR VERSE FOUR: As I look over my life, I can’t think of anyone whom I have wronged. I think I have treated all those who are my friends with godliness and love. I don’t even think I have unjustly treated those who are my enemies. My heart is clear and my conscience is indicating that I have done all that You have empowered me to do.

PRAYER FOR VERSE FIVE: If these things are happening to me because I have acted incorrectly, please let me see it. I am willing to suffer the consequences of wrong doing. But, I need Your help dealing with all of this. I trust You to correct me and use whatever instrument You need to, to help me be the person You want me to be.

Psa 7:6 (NIV) Arise, O LORD, in your anger; rise up against the rage of my enemies. Awake, my God; decree justice. If all this is happening and I am being wrongfully mistreated, I bring my case before You. My life and my efforts to help others get to know You is hampered when temptations and resistances keep bombarding me on all sides. My life and my outreach to others is stopped unless You move against the things and the people who are attacking me. Let Your wrath go against everything thing that is trying to thwart me from being and doing that which is pleasing in Your sight.

Psa 7:7 (NIV) Let the assembled peoples gather around you. Rule over them from on high; Let Your people all devote their lives to You. Help us submit ourselves to Your rule. You are worthy of our trust and service. We want You running our lives. No one or nothing is capable of doing the work that You do. We believe in Your leadership and Your Lordship.

Psa 7:8 (NIV) let the LORD judge the peoples. Judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, according to my integrity, O Most High. Let Your judgment be based on the righteousness and integrity that has been credited to my account by Jesus’ death and resurrection. Look at me through the blood of His sacrifice. I am clean before You because of what He has done in and through me. He is my Savior and You are my Father. There is none like You. You are greater than all things.

Psa 7:9 (NIV) O righteous God, Who searches minds and hearts, bring to an end the violence of the wicked and make the righteous secure. You have searched my heart and mind and have found the mighty work of Jesus. I am nothing in myself. But, I can do all things through Christ Who is strengthening me.

I just need my circumstances to be cleared so I can take advantage of all Christ has done. Stop the work of the wicked. Make the work of the righteous succeed. I want to go forward in Your blessing and prosperity. I want the opportunity and the anointing to do everything You want done. Open the doors to the righteous that we all may do everything You have commissioned us to do.

Psa 7:10 (NIV) My shield is God Most High, who saves the upright in heart. I know You are bringing Your shield of protection over me. You are the God Who is over everyone and everything. I know You will prosper the lives and ministry of all who serve You. You have saved us from the great evil that sin was about to destroy us in. You saved us from eternal damnation. And You are saving us from all the plans of the evil one. You are saving us so we can show forth Your glory to all the people of this earth. Our hearts are pure because You have purified them. We live because You gave us life. We share this life because You commissioned us to share it to all who are willing to receive it.

Psa 7:11 (NIV) God is a righteous judge, a God who expresses his wrath every day. I relax in all Your decisions. Your verdict is perfect and correct. You will bless the right people and pour out Your wrath on all the right people. Each day Your perfect will, will be accomplished and I will trust and believe in You Who did it. Even if it doesn’t look like I think it should, I know You rule and reign in complete power, wisdom, understanding, knowledge, grace, mercy, and love. Your will is what I want. I trust You completely.

Psa 7:12 (NIV) If he does not relent, he will sharpen his sword; he will bend and string his bow. I believe You are getting ready to put a stop to those who are resisting Your gospel message. I know You are faithful to see to it that every person has a perfect chance to hear, experience, and decide on all You have to offer. You have sent us out to tell them about Your great things. I know You will put a stop to those who try to stop us.

Psa 7:13 (NIV) He has prepared his deadly weapons; he makes ready his flaming arrows. You are getting all Your powerful weapons ready to destroy their efforts. Nothing shall be able to keep every person from hearing about Your glory and greatness. Your weapons shall be ready. We move forward in faith knowing that You will do Your part to prepare the way. Nothing shall be able to stand before us as we move ahead in Your Name. Your commission shall be carried out as we believe and obey You.

Psa 7:14 (NIV) He who is pregnant with evil and conceives trouble gives birth to disillusionment. Confuse all their plans O mighty God. Use their deceptions against them. Bring disillusionment into their efforts and schemes.

Psa 7:15 (NIV) He who digs a hole and scoops it out falls into the pit he has made. Let the traps they have set be the very pit they fall into. Rather than entrapping others, let them be the one who steps in it.

Psa 7:16 (NIV) The trouble he causes recoils on himself; his violence comes down on his own head. Let all the evil that the evil person plans against Your people boomerang on them. Bring them down with all the devices they have prepared to hurt people with. Flood their lives with the sickness, destruction, delusion, perversion, addiction, and futility that they were hoping to inflict others with. Bring all their violence down on their own heads.

Psa 7:17 (NIV) I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High. I praise and worship You for hearing and answering this prayer. Thank You for preparing the way for the gospel to go around the world. Thank You for speaking to all who hear. Thank You for transforming the lives of all You receive. Thank You for all You are doing to get all of us ready for eternity. You are an awesome God. We worship and praise You throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity.
