Allowing BELIEVING To Transform Your Heart
Jesus, move me into the fourth step in The Six Biblical Principles, which is BELIEVE. Help me alway remember that DESIRING guides You into what I want or don’t want. Help me understand that STUDYING the Bible gives me truths that will help me understand what is available to me. Help me see that PRAYING invites You into the issue so I can start getting more of Your help. And, teach me that BELIEVING provides You with the ATTITUDE that You honor so I can get Your power.
Jesus, make it clear to me that without faith it is impossible for me to please God, because when I come to Him must I must BELIEVE that He exists and that He rewards me when I earnestly seek Him (Heb 11:6). Teach me why God require me to have the faith to believe He exists and rewards me when I earnestly seek Him. Make it clear to me that faith is an acceptance of God’s honesty and integrity. If He reveals His existence through His creation, then He expects me to BELIEVE it. If He tells me in the Bible that He HAS done something, then He expects me to BELIEVE it is true. If I don’t, I am calling Him a liar; show me that like me, God doesn’t respond well to people who doubt His honesty and integrity.

Meekness
Professionals And Experts
Jesus, I know I can’t be good at everything; I know there are people who do what it takes to become professionals in certain fields. As I go out and transact business, I take advantage of things other people have specialized in. I BELIEVE IN pilots to fly me places, farmers to grow my vegetables for me, and certain suppliers to supply me special products and services. Teach me that the relationship I have with all these people has to do with meekness. I am BELIEVING IN professionals, teachers, leaders, and experts to take control over certain areas of my life and needs.

God’s Power-Attitude Of Meekness
Jesus, show me how important it is that I not choose the wrong professionals, teachers, leaders, and experts. Teach me that they may even be the very best in their field; but, if their attitudes and character are wrong, bad, or evil, I WILL get cheated. Help me see that You and Your Bible are trying to inform me as to who and what to BELIEVE IN for my life and needs. Teach me that Meekness from God lays out principles, concepts, philosophies, and truths that I had better BELIEVE and make my final authority. If the Holy Spirit speaks to my conscience, if the Bible says something to me, or if Jesus causes something to pop up in my mind that is trying to help me make a decision, make it clear to me that it is vital that I BELIEVE IT and make it my final authority; they are telling me THE TRUTH.

Attitude And Character Control
Jesus, help me understand that attitudes and character are controlling me; they are my system and method for making all my decisions. Show me that prior to me submitting them to You, they have been telling me what is right, good, righteous, wrong, bad, or evil and I BELIEVED them. They have been my interpretation of what is valuable, trustworthy, true, and best for me. If I get a message from the Holy Spirit in my conscience, a truth from the Bible, or a thought from You in my mind, the attitudes and character in my heart will evaluate them, if I don’t have meekness. My attitudes and character will keep ANALYZING the Holy Spirit, the Bible, and You as if my attitudes and character are the final authority for my life. Show me that if I only get on the scales to see how far off the scales are, I will never be able to find out how much I weigh.

Honor And Respect
Jesus, help me see that my current attitudes and character BELIEVE, honor, and respect how I feel, what I think, and what I want. Sjow me that all information coming my way is passing through MY attitudes and character test before it is BELIEVED as true, good, best, or valuable FOR ME. Make it clear to me that if I have my own truth, my own BELIEF system, my own evaluation method, and my own decision-making process, then the Holy Spirit, You, the Bible, and my heavenly Father won’t be able to help me. Make it clear to me that because Your ways and thinking are so advanced over mine, a lot of what You will be trying to give me will not make sense to me. I don’t know how gravity keeps me connected to the floor of my house. I don’t know why I don’t float off like I would do in space. I can’t see gravity, can’t capture it, or analyze it with the very best technology; but, it is there.

Sin And Righteousness
Jesus, help me see that I don’t have a full understanding of why adultery and fornication are wrong, why lying is a sin, why God wants me to do to others what you would have them do to you (Mat 7:12), why Luke 6:38 (NIV) is true: Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. I don’t have a full understanding of why I must obey Your commandments. I don’t know what You said: “Teaching them to OBEY EVERYTHING I have commanded you” (Mat 28:20a). Make it clear to me that with my current attitudes and character, I will pick and choose which of Your commandments I will obey. But, help me see that the end results of the life path I choose because of this will hurt me deeply.

Believing In God’s Power-Attitude Of Meekness
Jesus, now that the Spirit of truth, has come inside me, He is guiding me into ALL truth. He is not speaking on His own; He is speaking only what He hears, and He is telling me what is yet to come. He is bringing glory to You by taking from what is Yours and making it known to me (John 16:13-14). Teach me that God’s power-attitude of meekness will empower me to BELIEVE IN ALL truth. It will help me allow it to be my final authority on all subjects. I will have a receptive attitude toward anything and everything God says. If anything disagrees with God and the Bible, empower me to ALWAYS choose God and the Bible.
