I Am Opening My Strength To God
I Am Loving Myself, Others, And God Enough
To Submit My Will-Power To Jesus
Jesus, empower me to be willing to take the fifth step in The Six Biblical Principles. Help me be willing to LOVE myself, other people, and God with every aspect of my life. Teach me that this is talking about God’s love; help me see that it is a power-love that enables me to love myself as a special work of God. I didn’t do all these wonderful things to myself; You did! Show me that I am like a beautiful painting that people look at and admire and appreciate. Help me see that as long as I don’t go into pride, I will be able to LOVE the wonderful work You did and are doing in me.
Jesus, You are asking me: Who makes you different from anyone else? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not (1 Cor 4:7)? Help me understand and yield to this Biblical truth. It is awesome what You are doing in me; I am being transformed into incredible spiritual attitudes and character. Help me see that my thoughts, feelings, words, and deeds are being changed into very special abilities, blessings, miracles, and love. Show me that I am changing in ways that are supernatural, miraculous, God-sized, and dynamic. But, make it clear to me that if I fail to LOVE, appreciate, and recognize these great works of God in me, it will hurt my relationship with God. Empower me to LOVE myself so I will be able to love my neighbor as myself (Mark 12:31).

MY STRENGTH
I Am Submitting My Will-Power To Jesus Through Love
Jesus, You are empowering me to love the Lord my God with all my HEART and with all my SOUL and with all my MIND and with all my STRENGTH (Mark 12:30). Help me understand that up until now, You have been working on me opening up my HEART, SOUL, MIND, and STRENGTH; but, help me see that the major way for me to open these doors up is through the power of God’s LOVE. Show me that if I am going to LOVE God with all of me, then I am going to need a power that is superior to my own. Teach me that, that is why God gave me His LOVE the moment I received salvation and justification. Now, as I bring my will-power before God, let God’s love open my STRENGTH of will to a much broader perspective.

Since I Already Have God’s Love
Jesus, since loving God with ALL my STRENGTH is the major process of submitting it to You, teach me how to yield to it. Teach me that LOVE is to be my reason for why I do what I do. Help me see that if I can’t LOVE myself by appreciating what God has done to me, for me, with me, and through me, I will lack appreciation for His awesome work. Help me see that if I can’t LOVE my neighbor by being able to feel what they feel, I will live a selfish life. Help me see that if I can’t LOVE God with all my HEART, SOUL, MIND, and STRENGTH, I will have a weak relationship with Him. But, make it clear to me that God gave me HIS LOVE; help understand that, that LOVE can empower me to do all these things.

I Have Reasons For Loving
Jesus, help me have your attitude demonstrated here in Matthew 11:28 (NIV): Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Make me to be like You; help me yield to Your love so I can feel like this with others. Teach me that the people around me may act okay, but, they are lonely, hurt, sad, empty, and unloved. Teach me that as long as they don’t have God’s love, and as long as they are surrounded by others who don’t have God’s love, they can’t get relationships that meet their needs. Show me that when I enter into their lives having submitted my will-power to God’s love, things change for them. Make it clear to me that my will-power submitted to Your will-power helps me learn how to yield to the LOVE OF GOD that has been poured into my heart.

I Am Thinking About Myself
Jesus, empower me to in everything, do to others what I would have them do to me, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets (Mat 7:12). Sometimes I don’t WANT to submit my will-power to You because of the pain of caring about other people. But, what if I were that other person? Help me put myself in all the other places I see those around me in. Just for a moment empower me to allow myself to go into problems, difficulties, lonliness, depressions, and emptiness of those around me. Then empower me to allow myself to be them; then help me see what I would want others to do if it were me there.

I Am Thinking About The Bible And Jesus
John 14:15 (NIV) If you love Me, you will obey what I command. John 15:12 (NIV) My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Jesus, You left Your positions, power, conveniences, and glory in heaven and came to earth in the likeness of a human. You went through all the inconveniences of weather, fatigue, pain, temptations, and rejections of this life. Then You suffered and died on a cross for me and my sins. Help me see that now You are asking me to love others as You have loved me. Help me see things from other people’s perspectives; help me see how important it is for me to love them enough to help them spend eternity with You.

I Am Submitting My Will-Power To Jesus
Jesus, make it clear to me that I actually have God’s love already; teach me that the way for me to submit my will-power to You through love is a process of yielding. Since I have God’s love, teach me that all I have to do is yield to it; but, help me know how. Help me understand that as I am going through my day, I have to allow love to motivate me. I have to ask You, AT THAT MOMENT, to empower me to yield to God’s love; or, I can just do what I think is best. Teach me that this is a moment-by-moment, issue-by-issue submittion of my will-power. It is a matter of me asking for You to empower me to base my choices, decisions, words,and deeds on love. Empower me to allow Your love-power to influence my will-power. Teach me that this is done by me inviting You into each moment and each issue of my day.
