The Three Keys To All Of Christianity
I Am Activating The Six Biblical Principles
Mat 7:7-8 (NIV) ASK and it will be given to you; SEEK and you will find; KNOCK and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who ASKS receives; he who SEEKS finds; and to him who KNOCKS, the door will be opened. ASK, SEEK, and KNOCK are The Three Keys To All Of Christianity; they make everything in Christianity work.
I Am Getting Jesus Involved
Jesus, teach me that as a Christian, The Six Biblical Principles and all of my will-power actions in life are dependent on The Three Keys To All Of Christianity. Help me see that if I use the ASK key, the SEEK key, and the KNOCK key to apply The Six Biblical Principles, I am inviting You to help me with my DESIRE, STUDY, PRAYER, BELIEVING, LOVE, and FAITH-ACTION.
Jesus, make it clear to me that The Three Keys To All Of Christianity keep me from using human DESIRE, STUDY, PRAYER, BELIEVING, LOVE, and FAITH-ACTION. Show me that If I ASK YOU, You can give me a power that makes these six principles come alive. Help me understand that a computer or robot can be programed with information; but, it can’t feel. A slave can be forced to live a certain way; but, their heart won’t be in it. Help me realize that only You can help me feel and be real in those things I am using The Six Biblical Principles to transform me into. So, I ASK You right now to go down into my heart and create emotions that are real and powerful; let me FEEL the reality and change.
I Can’t Do It
Rom 7:18 (NIV) I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the DESIRE to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. Jesus, this is very confusing to me as a new or untrained Christian. I have been able to use my will-power to tell my body what to do. AND, as long as my will-power DESIRED to do physical, human, worldly things, it seemed like whatever my will-power decided, my body went along with it. John 3:6 (NIV) Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. Teach me that when I was born again, I didn’t cease to be human. I didn’t get a heavenly body; I am still living in a human body that is animalistic, selfish, and worldly. Help me see why my will-power, as a Christian, is getting some push back from my body. Teach me that the fact is, I, as a spirit being, won’t be able to use my will-power by itself to live the Christian life.

I Have To ASK
Rev 3:20 (NIV) Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me. Jesus, make it clear to me that I can’t live the wonderful, dynamic, awesome Christian life without You; AND, You won’t force my will-power and make me get Your help. Show me that I can keep on trying to change and do better, as a Christian; or, I can use my will-power to open the door and let You HELP me live the Christian life. Sometimes I am stuborn, determined, and strong-willed, but, help me see that, that will only make my struggles and failures as a Christian last longer. Teach me that ALL I have to do is ASK You to come in, SEEK Your help, and KNOCK on the doors of opportunities to share You with others. Help me see that THEN my Christian life will be empowered to help me live a blessed, healed, and joyous life.

I Have To ASK Because Of My God-Given Free Will
2 Pet 3:9 (NIV) The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not WANTING ANYONE to perish, but EVERYONE to come to repentance. Jesus, teach me that my will-power is a God-given free will; God doesn’t WANT me to spend an eternity in hell. But, help me understand that my will-power is so free that I can do things even against God’s will-power. But, help me see that if I use The Three Keys To All Of Christianity, I will be opening the door to the most incredible life beyond anything I ever hoped for.

I Have To ASK Because I Am Free
John 8:36 (NIV) So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. Jesus, teach me that the moment I was born again, You set my will-power free; help me understand that originally, when I was born as a human I started out with a God-given free will. But, prior to salvation and justification, Satan, the world, and my body pushed me, tempted me, addicted me, and enslaved me; I lost the freedom of my will-power. But, being born again gave it back to me! Help me see, however, that now that I am free as a Christian, I have to ASK for EVERYTHING I get from God. Teach me that I am not free from my human, animalistic, selfish body; but, I am FREE to use my will-power to get Your help to win over it.

I Have To ASK Because Jesus Is Knocking
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock: Jesus, You have the power and authority to force me; but, You don’t. Mat 28:18 (NIV) Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.” Even though You could turn me into a robot or a slave, You wait for my moment-by-moment, issue-by-issue will-power actions. I DO NOT WILL to live my life on my own; I do WANT Your help. But, teach me that I can’t ONLY make a general request for Your help. Help me see that my free will-power is always honored by God. So, I can’t just set a general rule that I always want Your help. I have to use my free will-power and ASK for Your help with every single issue I face. Teach me that it is a moment-by-moment, issue-by-issue relationship I establish or ignore all day long. I am always free to accept or ignore Your constant offer of help.

I Have To ASK Because Jesus Is Waiting
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door: Jesus, teach me that if I use my will-power to apply the ASK key and invite You into an issue, I have just OPENED THE DOOR. But, make it clear to me that it is just OPEN for You to come into that situation at that moment. But, help me see that if I make ASKING a part of my daily lifestyle, then my will-power is enhanced by Your will-power. Help me see that together You and I will accomplish things I never dreamed possible.

I Must Want A Close Relationship With Jesus
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me: Jesus, empower me so that all during my day, my attitudes can change toward my friendships, my marriage, my family, my business, and my career. One moment I can use my will-power to handle things myself; and, the next moment I can use it to ASK You for Your help. But, as I learn to love You, trust You, Believe in You, and see how wonderful You are, let it be much easier for me to submit my will-power to You. |
