I Am Opening My Strength To God
I Am Believing I Have The Power To Submit
My Will-Power To Jesus
Jesus, empower me to be willing to take the fourth step in The Six Biblical Principles. Help me to be willing to BELIEVE and trust God with every aspect of my life. Teach me that BELIEVING comes to me by You speaking faith into me; but, I have to be WILLING to allow You to speak faith into me. Let it be my WILL to desire what God wants me to desire. Help me always keep in mind that my will-power was made free by God when He created me in His own image. That make me human rather than a robot or slave.
Heb 11:1 (NIV) Now faith is being SURE of what we hope for and CERTAIN of what we do not see. Make it clear to me that without step four in The Six Biblical Principles, I would go on for the rest of my life not knowing whether or not I have what I have been desiring, studying about, and praying for. When You speak faith into me, it is the moment I KNOW I HAVE it. Help me see that it is the moment when my will-power and God’s will-power are in unity. It is a moment when I am WILLING to receive it; and, God is WILLING to give it to me. Teach me that this is what the permission based relationship is all about. First, I have to give my permission to God to give something to me; then, God has to give me His permission for Him to give it to me.

MY STRENGTH
I Am Submitting My Will-Power To Jesus Through BELIEVING
Jesus, make it clear to me that faith is me being SURE of what I hope for and CERTAIN of what I do not see (Heb 11:1). Teach me that BELIEVING is to trust, rely, depend, and to have faith in God. I must be WILLING to give my choices, decisions, and actions over to God. But, help me understand that this WILLINGNESS has to exist moment by moment and issue by issue. I can be WILLING one moment and not the next. I can trust God over one issue and not the next issue. Teach me that, that protects my God-given free will; but, it requires me to BELIEVE, trust, rely, and depend on Him all day long. Show me that if for every moment and every issue I BELIEVE in God, then my will-power for the whole day is submitted.

Jesus Is Speaking Faith Into Me
Rhema
Jesus, help me totally understand that once my will-power is submitted to You over an issue, this opens the door for You to speak (rhema) faith into me. Rom 10:17 (NIV) Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word (rhema) of Christ. Faith comes from hearing: This means the door of my will-power is open. Teach me that the way to open the door to my will-power is to BELIEVE in the honesty and trustworthiness of God. If I BELIEVE in God MORE that I believe in myself, then my will-power door is open to Him. Then when You speak faith, my will-power door will allow it in.

Faith Comes Into Me From Hearing
Jesus, teach me that the way you get human faith is to successfully accomplish something over and over again; but, help me understand that human faith DOES NOT work in Christianity. Help me see that in Christianity, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word (rhema) of Christ; make it clear to me that this is the only kind of faith that works in Christianity. If I am only WILLING to BELIEVE those things I have been successful at during my lifetime, then I will fail as a child of God. But, if I am willing to BELIEVE that You are telling me the truth, I will be able to BELIEVE anything You tell me.
Jesus, teach me that rhema faith from You deals with those things the Bible doesn’t address directly. I have to be WILLING to behave in a way that is totally honest, pure, righteous, and loving. Teach me the principle of this passage: 1 Cor 8:8-9 (NIV) But food does not bring us near to God; we are no worse if we do not eat, and no better if we do. Be careful, however, that the exercise of your freedom does not become a stumbling block to the weak.
Jesus, teach me that there will be things that the Bible allows me to do but my conscience keeps bothering me over. Show me that You are speaking to me because, for me, it isn’t good. Also teach me that there are other things the Bible and my conscience give me permission to do; but, a weak Christian around me would be hurt if they saw me doing it. Help me be careful that the exercise of my freedom does not become a stumbling block to the weak.

I Get Faith For Submitting My Strength Of Will To Jesus
I Am Submitting Through Authoring And Perfecting
Jesus, help me understand that my will-power decides WHERE I get my faith. Heb 12:2 (NIV) Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, Who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. I can BELIEVE in myself; or, I can BELIEVE in You. Help me understand that if my eyes are fixed on You, then all my faith will cause me to BELIEVE in You, the Bible, and the Holy Spirit speaking to my conscience.

I Am Giving Up Human Faith
Jesus, sometimes I WANT to believe in myself; sometimes I have SELF-confidence and SELF-esteem. Sometimes my will-power is directed toward me, my abilities, my skills, my talents, and my wants. Teach me that this can cause me to doubt the faith You are trying to speak into me. Show me that my doubt kills Jesus-faith: James 1:6-7 (NIV) But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive ANYTHING from the Lord. Help me see that my human faith will cause me to BELIEVE in myself. It will take my eyes off of You and cheat me out of all the blessings, benefits, and power I would have received if I had fixed my eyes on You.

Faith Comes As A Power For Me To Act On
Jesus, help me understand that faith from You gives me the power to BELIEVE; I may hope, wish, have positive feelings, or try to determine something; but, Jesus-faith is totally different from anything I can work up. Sometimes I have a deadline; sometimes it looks like if I don’t take action right away, I will miss the “opportunity.” BUT, help me understand that faith from You, so I can BELIEVE, requires that I WAIT on You. As the clock keeps on moving forward and the deadline gets closer, help me NOT feel like I had better DO SOMETHING. 1 Pet 1:17 (NIV) Since you call on a Father who judges each man’s work impartially, live your lives as strangers here in reverent fear. If I am going to be motivated by fear, then empower me to reverently fear God. Help me NOT take action until You speak faith into me so I can know what to do.
