Taking Advantage Of The Belt Of Truth
Through Scriptures
1. The belt of truth is functioning when our lives are an open book:
Jesus, make me into a person who lives by The Truth and comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what I have done has been done through You, God (John 3:21)."

2. The belt of truth is functioning when our spirit starts living The Truth:
Jesus, make me a part of a time that is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and truth, make me into the kind of worshiper that the Father seeks. Since God is Spirit, and His worshipers MUST worship in Spirit and in truth let me worship in Your Spirit and truth (John 4:23-24)."

3. The belt of truth is functioning when we work for the honor of God:
Jesus, help me not speak on my own so as to gain honor for myself, but empower me to work for the honor of the One Who sent me so I can be a man of truth; and so there is nothing false about me (John 7:18).

4. The belt of truth is functioning when freedom comes:
Jesus, let me know The Truth, and The Truth set me free (John 8:32).

5. The belt of truth is functioning when we aren’t one of the devil’s people:
Jesus, keep me from being one of these who belong to their father, the devil, and want to carry out their father’s desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to The Truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Yet because You tell The Truth, they do not believe You (John 8:44-45)!

6. The belt of truth is functioning when we put Jesus on:
Jesus, help me base my life on the fact that You are the way and The Truth and the life. and that no one comes to the Father except through You (John 14:6).”

7. The belt of truth is functioning when
we allow the Holy Spirit be our source of truth:
Jesus, intercede for me and ask the Father, and He will give me another Counselor to be with me forever--the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But I know Him, for He lives with me and is in me (John 14:16-17). But now that the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide me into ALL truth. He will not speak on His own; He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell me what is yet to come (John 16:13).

8. The belt of truth is functioning when we testify about Jesus:
Jesus, now that the Counselor has come, Whom You sent to me from the Father, the Spirit of truth Who goes out from the Father, He will testify about You in me and through me (John 15:26).

9. The belt of truth is functioning when
we base our philosophies, beliefs, and life on the Bible:
Jesus, I thank You for praying to the Father that He would sanctify me by The Truth; Your word is truth, heavenly Father (John 17:17).
