Taking Advantage Of The Belt Of Truth
Through Scriptures
1. The belt of truth is functioning when we listen to Jesus:

Jesus, when Pilate asked: “You are a king, then”, his ears weren’t open. Help me be able to hear this answer from You: Jesus answered, “You are right in saying I am a king. In fact, for this reason I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to The Truth. Help me understand Your purpose for coming and yield to that purpose. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me Jesus, open my spiritual ears so I can hear, understand, and yield to all of Your truths. (John 18:37).”

2. The belt of truth is functioning when it suppresses wickedness:
Jesus, let Your belt of truth keep me from any wickedness so that the wrath of God won’t be revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness in me. Help me not be one who suppress The Truth by my wickedness (Rom 1:18).

3. The belt of truth is functioning when it suppresses lies:
Jesus, help me never be one who has exchanged The Truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator--Who is forever praised. Amen (Rom 1:25).

4. The belt of truth is functioning when love is our motivation:
Jesus, help me yield to Your love that does not delight in evil but rejoices with The Truth (1 Cor 13:6).

5. The belt of truth is functioning when we are for The Truth:
Jesus, make it so I cannot do anything against The Truth, but only for The Truth (2 Cor 13:8).

6. The belt of truth is functioning when we believe The Truth:
Jesus, I thank You that I was included in You, my Christ, when I heard the Word of Truth, the gospel of my salvation. Having believed, I was marked in You with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit (Eph 1:13).

7. The belt of truth is functioning when we speak in love:
Jesus, empower me to always speak The Truth in love, so that in all things I will grow up into You Who is the Head, that is, my Christ (Eph 4:15).

8. The belt of truth is functioning when we base our life
on faith, love, and hope:
Jesus, make it be true that people have heard of my faith in You, my Christ Jesus, and of the love I have for all the saints--the faith and love that spring from the hope that is stored up for me in heaven and that I have already heard about in the Word of Truth, the gospel that has come to me. Use me so that all over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among me and my friends since the day I heard it and understood God’s grace in all its truth (Col 1:4-6).

9. The belt of truth is functioning when we don’t fall for deception:
Jesus, protect me and my friends from the coming of the lawless one who will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. Help me NOT be one who will perish because I refused to love The Truth and so be saved (2 Th 2:9-10).

10. The belt of truth is functioning when we start being sanctified:
Jesus, so sanctify me that others feel like they ought always to thank God for me as one of the brothers who is loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God chose me to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in The Truth (2 Th 2:13).
