Jesus, help me see the great aspects of God’s reward system. Help me notice and appreciate how the servant was rewarded with ten cities; show me that, that is how eternity works. If I am faithful over the small decisions I make here, my eternal rewards will reflect my faithfulness; but, the rewards will be incredibly greater than my accomplishments.

Jesus, teach me these Bible principles so I can use them to live my life successfully right now. Help me see that if I live my life according to these principles, my current life and my eternal life will be EVEN BETTER. The two wise servants applied their master’s business principles. Help me be like the first and second servants, let me apply Biblical principles that will make my life much better here and awesome in eternity.

Jesus, let Your parable teach me that if I use Your principles now, I am not going to be bored now or in God’s eternal Kingdom. And, eternity is going to be far more exciting for me than all of this life put together. But, help me understand that part of what will put me in a position of having that fun and experiencing that pleasure is being decided right now. It is dependent on which principles I use for running my relationships, my business, my marriage, my family, my friendships, and my career.

Help me imagine what it would be like to go from being a servant in charge of one coin to being promoted to leader over ten cities. Show me how big of a leap in types of rewards this is. I am sure he didn’t expect that in his WILDEST dreams and neither will I. But, I believe that this is the kind of God I have. His generosity and His principles are far greater and more wonderful than I will ever be able to imagine. I accept the fact that God’s Kingdom is worth my investment. Plus, my life will much more pleasurable and fun now.

Jesus, EVERYBODY needs to know that God is keeping a record of all our activities. Whether they want to join or not, they still have been entrusted with a life. Help me share with them that what we do with that life is up to us. Let me help them find out what God wants them doing and help them get actively involved; help me keep as many as possible from basically doing nothing of value with their life.

Jesus teach me that just wanting to join the Kingdom isn’t all there is to it. While the Kingdom of God is an awesome place, I have to realize that ALL my spiritual diseases have to be dealt with now. One of those spiritual diseases that I have been inflicted with is selfishness. It is an attitude where I want in; but, I don’t care whether anyone else gets in. That isn’t an attitude that I can smuggle into the Kingdom. But, You will help me use principles that will AUTOMATICALLY start helping the people around me.

Jesus, I am reading this with problems of my own. I don’t feel like I am ready to do anything to help someone else. But, help me see that this is the beginning of me getting rid of difficulties I am experiencing with drugs. The thing about drugs is that it can hurt me a lot; and, that draws my attention inward. The more I think about MY pain and fight MY hurts, the greater the pain gets; but, show me that if I start helping others, my pain diminishes.

Jesus, help me allow You to be the Lord and King of my life. You will get me started helping others with their problems WHILE You are healing me of mine. Teach me that those moments when my mind is off of my problems will be moments when I feel peace and joy. I can only think about one problem at a time. All during the time I am caring for others, I will be thinking about their problems and not mine. AND, You will actually be solving my problems with drugs.
