Rom 8:14 (NIV) Because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. Jesus, help me see that it is the normal, natural thing for God’s children to be led by the Spirit of God. Show me that You, through the Holy Spirit, empower me to live out The Six Biblical Principles. Teach me that God NEVER tells me to do ANYTHING that He doesn’t provide me with the equipment and power to do it. Help me always keep in mind that the Holy Spirit is inside me ready to bring all of Your provisions and power to me.

James 2:17 (NIV) In the same way, FAITH by itself, if it is not accompanied by ACTION, is dead. Jesus, help me understand that if You lead me and empower me to DESIRE, STUDY, PRAY, BELIEVE, and LOVE, then the reason You did all that was so You and I would be able to work together for me to take FAITH-ACTION. Make it clear to me that it isn’t until I start living all of Your truths that I have fulfilled Your purpose.

Jesus, You said in Matthew 7:24-27 (NIV): “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” Help me put Your words into practice.

Jesus, teach me that You aren’t expecting ME to submit my body to You without all Your provisions. John 14:16-17 (NIV) And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever--the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you know Him, for He lives with you and will be in you. So, help me see that when You went back to heaven, God sent the Holy Spirit to earth so as to continue Your work through all of His children.

John 14:12-14 (NIV) I tell you the truth, anyone who has FAITH in Me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask Me for anything in My name, and I will do it. Jesus, teach me that it isn’t just a matter of me being set free from my struggles with drugs, it is me getting the breakthough so You and I can share these breakthroughs with others.

Acts 1:8 (NIV) But you will receive POWER when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Jesus, make it clear to me that witnesses are people who have been transformed by You; help me see that they have experienced salvation and witnessed it for themselves. They have experienced many breakthroughs and witnessed them in their lives. They have moved through The Six Biblical Principles and are taking FAITH-ACTION on many wonderful provisions of God. They are witnesses because they have PERSONALLY experienced the love, grace, and provisions of God. They are going around telling people (witnessing) what THEY have experienced through You. Help me do that through the Holy Spirit’s power.

Acts 3:12 (NIV) When Peter saw this, he said to them: “Men of Israel, why does this surprise you? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? Jesus, help me be like Peter; help me DESIRE to “do what it takes” to have my needs met so I can share my breakthroughs with others. He DESIRED it so much that he obeyed Your instructions: Acts 1:4 (NIV) On one occasion, while He (Jesus) was eating with them, He gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift (of the Holy Spirit) My Father promised, which you have heard Me speak about. Help me obey Your instructions and be empowered by the Holy Spirit.

2 Tim 3:16-17 (NIV) All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful (powerful) for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. Jesus, show me that I am not just learning some information; I am learning truths that are real and powerful. Show me that when I read and study the Bible I am being exposed to works that transform me, create miracles in me, and empwer me to live a dynamic life in You. Show me that You, through the Holy Spirit, are teaching me HOW to start living as a spirit being who IS a child of God. Show me that You are getting me ready for God’s eternal Kingdom.

James 4:1 (NIV) What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? Jesus help me see that sometimes this is my life as a person involved in human effort and world training. I have been told: “Believe in your self;” “you can be anything YOU want to be;” “you can accomplish anything you set your mind on;” and, “you deserve the very best.” So, what actually happened out in the real world was, I ran into people walking over the top of people, defeating people, winning over people, selling them things they didn’t need or want, and cheating them if they could get by with it. Help me understand this and allow You to set me free from this world training.

James 4:2a (NIV) You want something but don’t get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. Jesus, sometimes I am this person who is still controlled by their body. Sometimes I am animalistic, selfish, self-centered, and aggressive. Help me see that being an aggressive person won’t get me what I am trying to get. I will run into other aggressive people in large numbers who are doing the same things. What happens is, I and they will cancel each other out. Teach me that I only win when I am able to cooperate, team up, unify, and create win/win situations for everyone involved.

James 4:2b (NIV) You do not HAVE, BECAUSE you do not ask God. Jesus, teach me that this is how REAL life works; teach me that it is the PRAYING person who ONLY gets those things that are good for them. Not things that look good to me; or, I think are good for me. Jesus, make it clear to me that for the LONG RUN, in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him (Rom 8:28). Teach me that prayer is my ONLY way for me to invite God to be involved in my life. Teach me that prayer is the ONLY way for me to specifically invite God into each need. AND, teach me that when I do, I get a God Who only gives GOOD gifts to those who ask Him (Mat 7:11)! Help me let the Holy Spirit help me pray the right prayers. Rom 8:26 (NIV) In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.

Jesus, I want to have a relationship with God; help me see, understand, and accept His attitudes and character. Help me see His love, honesty, generosity, integrity, fairness, and grace. If there is any doubt in my mind that He is truthful, trustworthy, and completely dependable, help me be healed from those doubts.

John 16:14 (NIV) He (the Holy Spirit) will bring glory to Me by taking from what is Mine and making it known to you. Jesus, through the Holy Spirit, put faith into me so as to empower me to BELIEVE in my heavenly Father’s purity, holiness, righteousness, godliness, and perfection. Let Your faith help me see that God is ONLY good; show me that God’s character and attitudes are exactily like I want to be treated. Teach me that BELIEVING in God is to accept, trust, depend, and rely on His honesty and integrity. Make it clear to me that He will only build His relationship with me in truth.

James 4:3 (NIV) When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. Jesus, teach me that James 4:1-2 are all about me trying to get my needs met through human effort and world training. Instead of ASKING God, sometimes I use all my skills, world training, abilities, talents, and efforts to get what I want. Help me finally learn that I am going to have to ASK God, if I am going to get those things that are only good for me and those around me. But, show me that I can ASK and still NOT get what I ASKED for. Show me that it is because I asked with wrong motives, that I may spend what I get on MY pleasures.

Rom 5:5b (NIV) God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, Whom He has given us. Jesus, teach me that God’s LOVE empowers me to move into a life of win/win relationships. Empower me so that when I get something from God, I will SHARE it with as many people as I can.

Rom 8:27 (NIV) And He Who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will. Jesus, teach me that the Holy Spirit helps me ONLY seek those things that are according to God’s will. Help me see that He helps me know that God is my only source of total good. So, help me look at The Six Biblical Principles as the Holy Spirit takes the first five and leads me into God’s will through You.

Jesus, help me ONLY DESIRE those things that are good for me and those around me so I can be in a position to have God give it to me. Help me STUDY and discover all Your provisions that are listed in the Bible so it will put me in a place where I can receive them from God. Help me PRAY the right prayers so I am ASKING for only good things for me. Then teach me that this puts me in line for the possibility of getting God’s good things. AND, help me allow You to speak faith into me so it will be the moment when I will BELIEVE and know that I HAVE that good thing from God.

Jesus, teach me that allowing You to give me the right DESIRES, give me the real truths of the Bible through STUDY, give me the correct PRAYERS for what to ASK for, then I WILL experience Your faith spoken into my heart. Teach me that I will be empowered to BELIEVE that I HAVE what I have been seeking. Now, teach me what am to do with this knowledge that Your faith has spoken into you. Show me that first, I have to allow You to check my heart and make sure I am getting this provision so I can create win/win situations for all who are involved. If my heart passes that test, show me that I am ready to join You in going out into life and living on the basis of the fact that I do have it. Teach me that this is when I take FAITH-ACTION and join You in putting into practice those things God HAS given me.
