I Am Opening My Mind To God
I Am Believing I Have The Power
To Submit My Thoughts To Jesus
Jesus, lead me into the fourth step in The Six Biblical Principles which is typically BELIEVE. Teach me that there are two major types of BELIEVING; one comes through me being able to accomplish something over and over again; show me that, that is human faith. Help me see that the other major type comes from You. Make it clear to me that it is very powerful; it has a special purpose that keeps me from BELIEVING something that isn’t God’s will for me.
Jesus, without faith it is impossible for me to please God, because when I come to Him I must BELIEVE that He exists and that He rewards me earnestly seeking Him (Heb 11:6). Teach me that God’s creation speaks faith into me that He exists (Rom 1:18-20). Teach me that You speak faith into me that God rewards those who earnestly seek Him. So, if You doesn’t speak faith into me for something I DESIRE, STUDY about, and PRAY for, then I will never be able to BELIEVE I have it. Help me understand that in my permission based relationship with God, my PRAYER invites God into that which I DESIRE. However, faith from You controls what my heavenly Father is willing to do to me, for me, in me, and through me. Make it clear to me that faith is the way God gives me His permission to BELIEVE something.

I Am Submitting My
Mind To Jesus Through Faith
Jesus, teach me that faith is me being SURE of what I hope for and CERTAIN of what I do not see (Heb 11:1). Teach me that this is talking about the faith You speak into my heart and MIND. Show me that it isn’t talking about human faith that I develop through repeated successes. Teach me tht if I have sat in a chair a lot of times and it held me up, I will believe it will do it again. If I have been able to accomplish something over and over again, I will believe I can do it again; help me understand that, that is human faith. Teach me that when Your faith is spoken into me, I am empowered to BELIEVE something that I may have NEVER done before. As a matter of fact, teach me that You can speak faith into me for something that I have ALWAYS failed at.

Jesus Is Speaking Faith Into Me
Rhema
Rom 10:17 (NIV) Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word (rhema) of Christ. Jesus, help me understand that in the Biblical greek language, “word” has to two possible words that can be used. If someone wanted me to know a word was a WRITTEN word, they would have to add “written” to it; but, in Greek, they would simply say “logos” and I would know it was a written word. In English, if someone wanted to tell me it was a spoken word, they would have to add the word SPOKEN to it. But, in Biblical Greek, they would simply say “rhema.”

My Faith Comes From Hearing
Jesus, teach me that human faith comes through successfully accomplishing something over and over again. But, In Christianity, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word (rhema) of Christ. Help me understand that even when I read a written word (logos) in the Bible, if You speak faith (rhema) into my heart at that moment, it empowers me to BELIEVE I HAVE that result. Make it clear to me that in Christianity, I won’t be able to BELIEVE anything spiritual without You speaking faith into my heart and MIND. |

I Have Faith For Submitting My Mind To Jesus
I Have Submission through Authoring And Perfecting
Jesus, empower me to fix my eyes on You, the Author and Perfecter of my faith, Who for the joy set before You endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God (Heb 12:2). Help me see that You were my Author of my faith at salvation and justification. Now through sanctification (spiritual growth) You are perfecting my faith. As You speak faith into me so I can BELIEVE I HAVE the power to submit my MIND to You, Hebrews 11:1 will take place in my heart and MIND; faith is me being SURE of what I hope for and CERTAIN of what I do not see.

I Am Giving Up Human Faith
James 1:6-7 (NIV) But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive ANYTHING from the Lord. Jesus, make it clear to me that my human faith will let me down; it just can’t go on for a long period of challenges and not doubt at least a little bit. BUT, help me see that Your faith will never let me down; no matter what comes my way, it will never give in and allow doubt to enter my heart or MIND. As I apply the ASK key to the BELIEVE principle, speak faith into me. Help me see that I will be SURE and CERTAIN that You have given me the power to submit my MIND to You.

I Am Giving Up Doubt
James 1:8 (NIV) he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does. Jesus, make it clear to me that doubt comes from Satan; he is trying to tell me that You aren’t trustworthy. Help me understant that Your faith is powerful and will keep me from doubting; but, I must believe in You. If Satan can get me to doubt You, he can create doubt about those things You ar speaking faith into me for. So first, empower me to wait for You to speak relational faith into me. Teach me that it empowers me to believe in You. Once I believe in You, You will help me believe for things.

I Accept Your Faith, Jesus
Jesus, I now look to You for Your faith; empower me to BELIEVE that I have the power to submit my MIND to You. I wait before You until I am SURE and CERTAIN that You have given me the power to submit my MIND to You.
