I Am Opening My Mind To God
I Am Submitting My Thoughts To Jesus
Jesus, empower me to take the sixth step into The Six Biblical Principles which is FAITH-ACTION. Teach me that there are two major types of FAITH-ACTION; one comes through me determining, committing, deciding, and making up my own mind; that is human faith-action. Show me that the other major type comes from God. It is very powerful; it empowers me to base my life on the fact that You have spoken faith into me. Help me see that it is a way of life where I join You and live out those things I now have in my life from God.
James 2:17 (NIV) In the same way, FAITH by itself, if it is not accompanied by ACTION, is dead. Jesus, You said it this way: Mat 7:24 (NIV) “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” Help see that once I have “done what it takes” by applying the first five Biblical principles, I must come to a place where I start living it. Teach me that it is normal for me to make mistakes, fail, misunderstand, and fall short. But, help me just keep praying and asking You to join me in practicing, practicing, practicing.

MY THOUGHTS
I Am Submitting My Mind To Jesus Through Faith-Action
Jesus, teach me that once I have waited on You to speak faith into me for submitting my MIND to You, I am equipped with the power to BELIEVE I have Your help in submitting my MIND. Teach me that after I have had You check my motives, and after You have helped me do these things in LOVE, I am ready to start joining You in the practice of submitting my MIND to You. Help me see that from that moment on, I must pray that I will remember to consult You before I make a decision. Help me understand that I will probably have something go wrong and then realize that I forgot to consult You first. Help me not panic, go into guilt, or try to make up my own mind to do it next time. Teach me that only The Six Biblical Principles can help me start consulting You before, during, and after a decision.

I Am Learning How To Stay In Touch
Jesus, empower me to pray continually (1 Th 5:17). Make it clear to me that it really isn’t all that hard to include You in my thoughts. Rather than asking myself or other people what to do, help me to in my MIND ask You. If I do ask myself or other people, empower me to be sure to check it out with You. Teach me that when I am trying to make a decision, if I just include You in my question, You will share with me Your knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. Help me see that the problem is getting used to including Your name in the question. But, help me understand that the more I include You in all my thoughts, the more benefits I will get in life. Show me that ideas will pop up in my MIND that are brilliant. The rewards will be so wonderful that it will motivate me to keep asking You what to do.

Once I Get A Brilliant Idea
Jesus, teach me that You are the vine; I am the branch. If I REMAIN in You and You in me, I will bear much fruit; APART from You I can do nothing (John 15:5). When I get a wonderful idea from You, help me understand that the temptation will be to do it myself rather that remaining in You. I may finding myself thanking You for the wonderful idea and then leaving You to go do it. Teach me that great ideas from You need You to make them work. I need You to give me the idea; and, I need You to empower me to carry it out. Help me see that if I leave You out of the project, I can get the idea that “maybe I didn’t really hear from You.”

Faith-Action
Jesus, teach me that submitting my mind to You means that I am living together with You. You and I are thinking together, planning together, deciding which goals to embrace, and then working together to carry them out. Teach me that Your ideas come with power; they give me abilities, skills, talents, and aptitudes that I didn’t have before I got the idea. Make it clear to me that if I will give You the credit for the idea and the power to carry it out, the appreciation, praise, thanks, and worship that will come out of that will cause faith-action come alive in me.
