I Am Opening My Mind To God
I Am Submitting My Thoughts To Jesus
Jesus, make it clear to me that the Six Biblical Principles and all of my life are dependent on The Three Keys To All Of Christianity. If I use the ASK key, the SEEK key, and the KNOCK key to apply The Six Biblical Principles, I am understanding that apart from You I can do nothing (John 15:5b). The only things that keep me from trying to use human DESIRE, STUDY, PRAYER, BELIEVING, LOVE, and FAITH-ACTION are The Three Keys To All Of Christianity. Teach me that it is when I ASK You to empower me to DESIRE, STUDY, PRAY, BELIEVE, LOVE, and take FAITH-ACTION that I get Your power and provisions.
Mark 12:30 (NIV) Love the Lord your God with ALL your HEART and with ALL your SOUL and with ALL your MIND and with ALL your STRENGTH. Jesus, make it clear to me that this verse doesn’t tell me to Love the Lord my God with my HEART and with my SOUL and with my MIND and with my STRENGTH. It is telling me to love Him with ALL of them. Show me that ASK is simply me praying and asking You to help me. Help me see that SEEK adds a second dimension to all that I do. It helps me get Your power to add intensity, passion, intentionality, determination, and diligence to my DESIRE, STUDY, PRAYER, BELIEVING, LOVE, and FAITH-ACTION. Help me understand that SEEK deals with how much, how intense, and to what degree, I am doing what I am doing.

I Am Submitting My Mind To Jesus Through Intensity
Jesus, help me accept the fact that whether it is The Six Biblical Principles or anything else in my life, ASK, SEEK, and KNOCK make them work. Teach me that even though ASK is a prayer, it is needed when I apply the PRAY principle in The Six Biblical Principles. Otherwise I will PRAY; but, I will not be praying through Your guidance, power, and wisdom. Show me that once I have gotten used to ASKING before I do anything, that will help me be ready to add the SEEK dimension to everything I do. Help me start ASKING You to empower me to get the intensity of the SEEK key. Help me look to You for passion, determination, commitment, and enthusiasm.

SEEK
How Much?
Jesus, do I DESIRE to submit my thoughts to You? To what degree, how intense, and with what determination do I want to submit my thoughts to You? Teach me that even the ASK key is influenced by the SEEK key. If I am ASKING You to empower me to DESIRE to submit my thoughts to You, I could be ASKING casually. I could be saying, “it would be nice, if You would empower me with DESIRE to submit my thoughts to You.” Or, I could be saying, “PLEASE JESUS, empower me with the DESIRE to submit my thoughts to You!” You really care about how intense my heart and MIND are engaged in an issue. Help me get a great DESIRE to submit my MIND to You.

Jesus’ Purpose Of Reasoning With Me
Jesus, teach me that the first part of Matthew 7:7-11 simply explains how ASK, SEEK, and KNOCK work. Mat 7:7-8 (NIV) ASK and it will be given to you; SEEK and you will find; KNOCK and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who ASKS receives; he who SEEKS finds; and to him who KNOCKS, the door will be opened. Show me that You could have stopped here with the explanation. You didn’t have to go beyond these two verses and reason with me. You don’t have to try to convince me of how important they are. But, help me see that You and Your Bible will often spent time trying to create an intense desire in me for those things You are talking to me about. So, help me see hou You went on to verses 9-11 and tried to help intensify this truth in me.

Mat 7:9-11 (NIV) Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much MORE will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him! Jesus, as You reason with me here, let it give me an opportunity to go beyond just the facts. Help me KNOW that if I ASK it WILL be given to me. Teach me that, that can build faith in me concerning You responding to my requests. But, make it clear to me that You want that faith to produce a powerful BELIEVING in me. You want me to BELIEVE with great intensity.

I Am Submitting My Mind Through Reasoning
Jesus, teach me that even though I can’t reason with my heart, I can provide it with logic from my MIND. Teach me that my heart understands degrees of intensity. It can have a mild feeling about something; or, it can have a passionate feeling about something. Help me allow You and the Bible to give me OVERWHELMING proof about each Biblical truth; let it help my heart accept it more passionately. Teach me about another thing that influences my heart through my MIND; and, that is REPETITION. Help me keep exposing my MIND to the Bible so those truths will repeatedly keep flowing through my MIND into my heart. Use that Biblical repetition to change and intensify the feelings of my heart.

I Am Submitting My Mind Through Proof
Jesus, as I read the Bible and as I allow You to take me through these studies and prayers, let me keep getting more and more proof. Show me that the first exposure to proof will help my MIND get a mild conviction that it is true. But, as You and the Bible and my study of it keeps giving me more and more proof, help me see that my MIND and my heart start to BELIEVE with greater and greater intensity. Teach me that the more I allow the Bible and You to reason with me, the more conviced, committed, dedicated, and stable I will become as a Christian. Teach me that this is me applying the SEEK key to my life.
