Jesus, help me prepare correctly for WHEN You come in Your glory, and all the angels with You, You WILL sit on Your throne in heavenly glory. Then it will be too late for me to make any changes. All the nations WILL be gathered before You, and You WILL separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. You WILL put the sheep on Your right and the goats on Your left. Help me get as many people ready for this moment as is possible. Teach me how to prepare people for being able to be put on Your right.

Then You WILL say to those on Your right, “Come, you who are blessed by My Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited Me in, I needed clothes and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after Me, I was in prison and you came to visit Me (Mat 25:31-36).” Teach me the Scriptures that help me take advantage of the helmet of salvation so I will be able to live this kind of life and will be able to help many live it.

Jesus, help me not be one of those who did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, Help me to not be turned over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done (Rom 1:28). And help me assist others to be protected from this horrible condition. When Your thoughts and feelings aren’t flowing into me exclusively through the helmet of salvation, evil, depraved, satanic thoughts can enter my mind. This not only hurts me, it keeps me from helping those people mentioned in Your final exam. Then, when that happens, it keeps the people of the world from seeing how amazing Your principles work in real life.

Jesus, I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members (Rom 7:23). Teach me that those Christians who are still a prisoner of the law of sin at work within their members, may believe in Your principles. But, they aren’t able to go out and put them into practice. Help me not just know Your principles; help me live them. Teach me how to live this life so that You make it possible for people to experience them and see them in real life in their marriage, business, friendships, entertainment, and circumstances.

Jesus, the mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace (Rom 8:6). Help me give the Holy Spirit control of my mind through wearing the helmet of salvation. Let Him start leading me into Your principles so I will not only pass my final exam, it will bring God’s blessings into the lives of large quantities of people. Help me know how to teach people to win at life through You.

Jesus, since the sinful mind is hostile to God and does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so (Rom 8:7), set me free from the sinful mind. Help Your principles to make sense to me so I won’t resist them. Your helmet of salvation helps me understand and agree with Your principles. Teach me how everyone’s needs can be met without theft, cheating, lying, misleading, selfishness, and competition.

Jesus, my heavenly Father searches my heart and knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for me in accordance with God’s will (Rom 8:27). Let me start learning Your principles for how to help everyone get their needs met for the rest of their lives. I need the power of God to make it work. Show me that when Your Holy Spirit starts interceding for me, my circumstances will line up with God’s plan. This is when in all things God works for my good because I love Him and have been called according to His purpose (Rom 8:28). Let my life be a life based on Your principles.

Jesus, help me not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of my mind. Then I will be able to test and approve what God’s will is--His good, pleasing and perfect will (Rom 12:2). Reveal to me that it is impossible for me to help everyone get all their needs met for the rest of their lives, if I don’t know what God’s will is. But, with a renewed mind, I will know; and that comes by me wearing my helmet of salvation all the time.

Jesus, help me stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, empower me to make up my mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in my brother’s way (Rom 14:13). Let this be where I learn how to get along with the people around me; teach me how to become a part of a mighty supporting team. Show me that rather than competing, defeating, beating, getting ahead of people, and winning over them, empower me to support, assist, share, cooperate with, and join one another.

Jesus, help me respond in faith to this appeal: I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought (1 Cor 1:10). Help all of us agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among us and that we may be perfectly united in mind and thought. Let people that would typically be my competition become my fellow workers; let people who would be my enemies become my friends; let people who are strangers become a part of my family; let people who don’t have anything to offer me become my supporters and contributors.
