James 2:20 (NIV) You foolish man, do you want EVIDENCE that FAITH without deeds (ACTIONS) is useless? Jesus, help each verse of Scripture I STUDY give me enough EVIDENCE to convince me so I will be helped by them. Teach me that if I read it and don’t BELIEVE it, it won’t help me. If I read it and don’t understand it, it won’t help me. If I read it and don’t DESIRE it, it won’t help me. Make it clear to me that it is my reaction to God’s truths that matter; I can’t take FAITH-ACTION if I don’t believe it, understand it, or desire it.

Jesus, help me use The Three Keys To All Of Christianity so I can ASK You to help me believe it, understand it, and desire it. Help me apply the SEEK key and ASK You to empower me to TOTALLY believe it, COMPLETELY understand it, and PASSIONATELY desire it. Help me apply the KNOCK key and ASK You to empower me to love the people around me enough to do all of this so I can share all these breakthroughs and victories with them.

James 2:20 (NIV) You foolish man, do you want EVIDENCE that FAITH without deeds (ACTIONS) is useless? Jesus, once You have empowered me to believe it, understand it, and desire it, make it clear to me that it is time to take FAITH-ACTION on the basis of it.

Faith without deeds (action) is useless: empower me and transform me so I can go out and live what I have been applying the first five principles on. Just like I have to ASK You to help me with my desire, study, prayer, believing, and loving, help me see that I have to join You in taking faith-action. Help me see that I must apply The Three Keys to my FAITH-ACTION. Show me that this helps me keep You in the actions of my life. They keep me ASKING You what to do; they keep me SEEKING You for giving me the intensity to do what I do with passion; and, they keep me KNOCKING on Your doors of opportunity to demonstrate my love to others.

James 2:21-24 (NIV) Was not our ancestor Abraham considered righteous for what he DID when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see that his FAITH and his ACTIONS were working together, and his FAITH was made complete by what he DID. And the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend. You see that a person is justified by what he DOES and not by FAITH alone.

Jesus, help me stay familiar with this event in Genesis 22:1-18 so I can learn from this example. Help me see that I may be faced with losing my job, my house, or my friends because my boss, the company, or a person is asking me to do something that is wrong, bad, or evil. But, if I understand that Abraham didn’t obey God through his own power, commitment, determination, or righteousness, that will help me face such a challenge while using my two tool sets.

Jesus, help me get the full meaning of this passage: Mat 19:16-22 (NIV) Now a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?” “Why do you ask Me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One Who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.” “Which ones?” the man inquired. Jesus replied, “‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother,’ and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’” “All these I have kept,” the young man said. “What do I still lack?” Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.” When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.

Jesus, help me to NOT expect the devil to just LET me take faith-action; show me that he will do all he can to try to convince me that he is too big and powerful for me to be able to win. Like this rich young man, he will put all kinds of worse-case-scenarios in my mind. The rich young man probably was imagining what life would be like if he gave away all his wealth. As he stood there invisioning how bad it would be to become poor, he DECIDED to go away sad. Show me that in my mind I can do the same thing; rather than quickly turning to You and putting the whole issue in Your care, I can listen to Satan draw out horrible things that MIGHT happen to me, if I take faith-action. But, help me and empower me to not listen to him.

Jesus, teach me that there are a lot of things that are too hard for me. When I read Your sermon in Matthew chapters 5-7, I read things You say that I will NOT be able to do. As a matter of fact, sometimes I am NOT even WILLING to do them. When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.

Jesus, help me understand that this young man didn’t have to go away sad; help me see that it WAS impossibe for him to give his wealth away; there were a lot of things he couldn’t do. But, help me see that all he had to do was turn to You and tell You that it was too hard for him. He could have ASKED You to help him sell all his possessions and give them to the poor. When I run into a situation where I have been empowered by You to complete the first five principles but the faith-action part of it is too hard for me, empower me to ALWAYS start ASKING, SEEKING, and KNOCKING for the power to take FAITH-ACTION.

Jesus, help me understand and be trained by this passage: Mark 9:17-20 (NIV) A man in the crowd answered, “Teacher, I brought You my son, who is possessed by a spirit that has robbed him of speech. Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked Your disciples to drive out the spirit, but they could not.” “O unbelieving generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to Me.” So they brought him. When the spirit saw Jesus, it immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth.

Jesus, once again, help me to not expect the devil to just LET me take faith-action; help me always realize that he will do all he can to try to convince me that he is too big and powerful for me to be able to win. Teach me that the spirit probably threw the boy into a convulsion when the disciples tried to drive it out. The boy probably fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth and traumatized the disciples. Help me see that just like I need to ASK You to help me with my desire, study, prayers, believing, and love, I need Your help with faith-action. Help me see that faith-action is where You want to start living in and through me in a special way. I now ASK You to demonstrate through me how to take faith-action in a supernatural way.

Jesus, help me see how this father got his unbelief fixed: Mark 9:21-24 (NIV) Jesus asked the boy’s father, “How long has he been like this?” “From childhood,” he answered. “It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if You can do anything, take pity on us and help us.” “‘If You can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for him who believes.” Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”

Jesus, when You tell me to do something or require me to have something, empower me to turn and get it from You. No matter what assignment the Bible gives me, empower me to ask You to help me to automatically turn to You and use my two tool sets to obey the assignment. Help me not try to do it, try to figure out a way to do it, or to spend time seeing how hard it is going to be. Help me immediately turn to You for the help I need. Teach me that this little boy’s father didn’t have the faith he needed so he said: “help me overcome my unbelief!” Help me see how Abraham was able to obey God on such an “impossible” assignment. Help me see how the rich young man could have not gone way sad. Teach me that The Three Keys To All Of Christianity and The Six Biblical Principles CAN handle the impossible things in my life.

Jesus, help me see your power and authority in this passage: Mark 9:25 (NIV) When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, He rebuked the evil spirit. “You deaf and mute spirit,” He said, “I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.” Teach me that there is no battle between You and whatever I am facing. Make it clear to me that You don’t have any problems or struggles with solving my issue with drugs. But, help me see that I have to learn how to yield, cooperate, and “do what it takes” to experience Your power; You have to wait on me. Help me clearly understand that I am on this planet to learn how to do things in the spirit realm. You are training me to do the works and live Your life. Help me see that You are also responding to my God-given free will. So, even though You can get the job done instantly, my spiritual and Biblical growth can delay those things I need.

Jesus, help me see how unaffected Your were in this situation: Mark 9:26 (NIV) The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, “He’s dead.” Help me understand that I don’t need to, put on the full armor of God so that I can take my stand against the devil’s schemes (Eph 6:11). if there are no devil’s schemes. Show me that since I am being trained on how to operate in the spirit realm, there has to be sources of resistance for me to practice on. Teach me that the devil, circumstances, problems, and difficulties are like weights in an exercise room. They are like the track that runners run on getting ready for a race. Help me realize that I am getting ready for eternal life in God’s eternal Kingdom. All this resistance, all this training, and all this development, are vital for my eternal future.

The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, “He’s dead.”: Jesus, help me understand that had You been convinced by the devil that the boy was dead, then You would have lost the battle. Help me see that this is probably how the disciples lost the battle and couldn’t drive the evil spirit out. Teach me that when I am about to experience a victory, Satan is allowed to see if he can cheat me out of it. Show me that I am responsible for believing the Bible, You, my heavenly Father, and the Holy Spirit. If I believe Satan’s lie, I will lose the battle. So, help me always turn to You to be empowered to use my two tool sets in these situations.

Jesus, use this passage to help me yield to You and Your life in me: Mark 9:27 (NIV) But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him to his feet, and he stood up. Empower me to submit my thoughts, feelings, words, and deeds to You; train me on how to do things like this. Let me put myself in Your place for a moment, as You heal this boy. The boy looks like he is dead; if he is dead and I try to raise him up, it is going to be a very embarrassing moment. But, if it is just one of the devil’s tricks and I don’t lift him to his feet, I lose the battle. However, make it clear to me that as I allow You to live in that through me, You will influence my thoughts, feelings, words, and deeds. I will pass the test because I am not living my life anymore; You are living in me. Show me that by submitting my life to You, it helps and empowers me to experience supernatural things at a dynamic rate. Help me see that Your system of training is perfect, powerful, and very effective.
