Mat 11:27 (NIV) All things have been committed to Me by My Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him. Jesus, help me cooperate with Your main objective to help me get to know God, the Father. Reveal Him to me because I have accepted You as my Lord, Savior, and King. Help me get to know God, the Father by representing Him to me.

John 6:37-40 (NIV) All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and whoever comes to Me I will never drive away. For I have come down from heaven not to do My will but to do the will of Him Who sent Me. And this is the will of Him Who sent Me, that I shall lose none of all that He has given Me, but raise them up at the last day. For My Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise Him up at the last day. Jesus, let this message from You show me the heart of my Father; show me what God’s will is for me. Let this help me love my heavenly Father and know Him better.

John 14:8-10 (NIV) Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.” Jesus answered: “Don’t you know Me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in Me? The words I say to you are not just My own. Rather, it is the Father, living in Me, Who is doing His work.” Jesus, when I see You doing Your work all through the Gospels, let me see God, the Father’s works. Now that I have seen the Father through You, let me also meet God, the Holy Spirit.

John 16:8 (NIV) When He (the Holy Spirit) comes, He will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment. Jesus, teach me that ever since I became mature enough to know the difference between right and wrong, I have been experiencing the Holy Spirit in my conscience. Teach me that the ONLY reason I have the ability to know when I am doing something right or wrong is because the Holy Spirit is speaking it into my conscience. But, before I got Your power through salvation and justification, I went ahead and did wrong things anyway. James 4:17 (NIV) Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it, sins.

Jesus, make it clear to me that I have known the Holy Spirit and how He sees things for most of my life. Prior to Your power, I didn’t yield to the Holy Spirit’s influence; but, He and I have been just as close as my conscience. Help me go back to some of the things my conscience dealt with me about. Let me familiarize myself with some of my experiences with the Holy Spirit. Let that help me get to know Him better. Let that help me see how He has been influencing me to treat myself and others better. Let me see His love for me and the people around me.

John 16:13 (NIV) But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on His own; He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come. Jesus, Your are the Truth; and, the Holy Spirit will guide me into all truth. Teach me that the Holy Spirit will be speaking directly to my spirit and teaching me more and more about You: He will not speak on His own; He will speak only what He hears.

John 16:14 (NIV) He will bring glory to Me BY taking from what is Mine and making it known to you. Jesus, make it clear to me that the Holy Spirit won’t be talking to me about Himself; He will be revealing more and more of You to me. Show me that He will take the Scriptures in the Bible and help me get to know You in a much better way. He will be helping me yield to You so You can live in and through me. Teach me that through the work of the Holy Spirit, You and I will be working to make my life better. Then You and I will be using my breakthroughs to make the lives of others better.

John 16:15 (NIV) All that belongs to the Father is Mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is Mine and make it known to you. Jesus, help me see tht the more the Holy Spirit reveals You to me, the more I will know my heavenly Father. The character of the Father, You, and the Holy Spirit will become clear to me as the Holy Spirit guides me into all truth. Help me look over these three verses and help me see the oneness of God. Help me see the person of the Father, the person of You, Jesus, and the person of the Holy Spirit. And, help me see how You are all in total unity. Let this help me understand and love God in all three personal manifestations.

1 Cor 6:19-20 (NIV) Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, Who is in you, Whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body. Jesus, teach me that through the Holy Spirit being in me, I have GOD in me. Teach me that the Holy Spirit being in me brings You and the Father into me. Show me that this gives me direct access to full communication with my heavenly Father and You. Help me understand that the Holy Spirit is tying me to You so I can receive all God has to offer me.

John 3:6-7 (NIV) Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at My saying, ‘You must be born again.’ Jesus, make it clear to me that the Holy Spirit caused me to become a child of God, a member of His family, and a citizen of God’s eternal Kingdom. Rom 8:9 (NIV) You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. Jesus, teach me that when I was born again, the Holy Spirit, which is the Spirit of Christ, came into me.

Rom 8:16 (NIV) The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Jesus, show me that the reason I know I have been born into God’s family is because the Holy Spirit is speaking that fact into my spirit. Now that I have Spirit-to-spirit communication, God doesn’t have to use words to talk to me. You can make things known to me in an instant. I can start knowing, seeing, understanding, and feeling things straight from the Spirit of God. Show me that as I am reading my Bible, a truth will all of a sudden become clear and obvious to me. As I am going about my day, what I should do will suddenly be clear to me.

1 John 4:4 (NIV) You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the One Who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. Jesus, teach me that this is Your power that will empower me to win over my body, the world, and the devil. Help me understand that the Holy Spirit won’t just be guiding me into knowledge and information ABOUT You, He will connect me directly to You and Your power. Make it clear to me that You are in me through the presence of the Holy Spirit. You and I will be working together through the Holy Spirit.

Rom 8:26-27 (NIV) In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And He Who searches our hearts (our heavenly Father) knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will. Jesus, make it clear to me that I don’t get ANYTHING from God, if I don’t ask for it. SO, let the Holy Spirit help me pray for things that I wouldn’t typically pray for. Let Him even take the damage and hurts that are deep inside my heart and bring them before God for healing.
