In raising children, you are dealing with two people who have a free will. The parent can choose to be a parent who follows Biblical principles and is raising their child in a very good fashion. But the child has the right to refuse to learn and apply Biblical principles to the parent/child relationship.
Or, the situation can be reversed where the child is following the Biblical principles but the parent refuses to do so. There can also be other members of the family who are refusing to follow Biblical principles and are hurting all the other members of the family.
In this study, Jesus deals will all of those possibilities and helps those who are willing to use His principles to bring as much healing as is possible to the family. If this is the area where you are suffering the most, then go ahead and start studying the Bible concepts and allowing them to help you bring healing to the child or children in your family.
If you can get your child or children to join you in the study, you will find the process to be rewarding and relationship building.
