According to a lot we hear and are taught, offerings to God are one of the most important things we do. Jesus told the rich young ruler to go sell all he had and give it to the poor (Mat 19:16-22).

But here you see that the relationship you have with others comes first. God really doesn’t struggle with financial needs. He can make all the money and objects He wants. People are His priority. He wants you to put your priority on having love relationships with people over money, possessions, positions, pleasure, popularity, prestige, power, and accomplishments.
