What is this all about? Giving things to the needy and getting rewards from our Father in heaven. This is where someone says: “We shouldn’t give to get.”

We, by our self-righteous comments, nullify the words of God. We all struggle with giving. Either we have it and find it hard to share it. Or, we don’t have it and can’t share because of our lack. There are two ways of giving to get. The one described here is giving so as to get praise from the people who see us give.

The one that is required here is giving so as to get a reward from our heavenly Father.

If we give to the needy so we can get more from God, then we will have God supplying all our needs; AND, we will have much more to give to the needy. But, if we fail to give or we give to be seen by humans, we will cut off the blessings of God and our needs won’t be met AND the needs of the needy won’t be met. Trying to get the praise of men, cuts off our blessings for our own life and it cuts off our supply for our ministry.
