Mat 5:7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

Spiritual Component Five

MERCIFUL

I Want Justice!
God’s GRACE gives us what we don’t deserve, His love and provisions. God’s MERCY doesn’t give us what we do deserve, His wrath and judgment. That is how God wants us to treat others. Aren’t you glad God doesn’t do what is fair? Grace and mercy are so much better than God being fair. If He had treated us with justice and fairness, our debts of deeds we have committed against ourselves, others, and God would have separated us from God for eternity.
But, one of our number one issues in life is for people and life to treat us fairly. If someone owes a debt, it is only fair that they pay it, right? Here’s a great parable that illustrates the way humans think and the way God sees things.

Mat 18:23-35 (NIV) “Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants.

As he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand talents was brought to him. Since he was not able to pay, the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold to repay the debt. The servant fell on his knees before him. ‘Be patient with me,’ he begged, ‘and I will pay back everything.’ The servant’s master took pity on him, canceled the debt and let him go. ”
