This is also a vital prayer for the Kingdom of God.

Mat 6:10b Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Rev 11:15 (NIV) The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign for ever and ever.”

As we have already seen, the kingdom of the world is being ruled over by Satan.

As people come to Christ, God’s will starts to be done in that person’s life. So, the battle is twofold. The changing of the hearts in mankind; and, the removal of all that is evil on the planet.

We are responsible for letting God work through us to bring about the changing of the hearts of mankind. Then the end will come. God will remove all that is evil from this planet and at that point, the kingdom of the world will be the Kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ. From that point on, God’s will, will be completely done on earth as it is in heaven.
