Heb 6:18 (NIV) God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged.

God never lies. This makes it possible for all to put their total trust in Him. That is the way God wants us to live. He wants us to put our total trust in Him. And, He wants us to let Him set us free from all lying. This then gives others the full picture of what God and Christianity are all about.

A lie doesn’t always come from words; it can come from someone’s life. Living a lie damages the person who is living it and those who pattern their life after them.

For us to live and give the truth, we are yielding to the life and ministry of Jesus. One of the biggest ways for us to give Jesus to others is for us to live Him in front of them.

1 Cor 11:1 (NIV) Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.

Our words are just a supplement to our life that is yielded to Jesus. We are telling them the truths that we are living by. That is why we don’t teach what we know. We just teach those things we already have the victory on. The areas where we have the victory are the areas where we have the life and ministry of Jesus. Those things we know but aren’t living yet are the areas where we are still SEEKING the life and ministry of Jesus.
