Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Through salvation we move into great aspects of “seeing” God; we see Him in the temporal and in the eternal. We have to see God now in order to see God later. Since a pure heart comes through salvation, then seeing God comes through salvation. Before salvation, we weren’t able to understand spiritual things. After receiving a pure heart, we were able to start growing in spiritual knowledge concerning God and the things of God.

The Holy Spirit revealed God to us. The more we started seeing God, the more we became able to see more of God. The pure heart makes it possible for a person to start, grow, mature, mentor, and minister the great things of God. Then in eternity we will see God in a far greater way than will ever be possible here. The pure heart is one of the most vital aspects of all Christianity. It has to happen before any of the other aspects of Christianity can happen.
