Here’s The Big Issue

Here are the questions we must have answered by God before we can start our ministry:

What does God want me to do?

What type of ministry has He called me to?

What aspect of the message does He want me to present?

Where does He want me to start?

When does He want me to start?

How does He want me to start?

If we start doing things that God hasn’t called us to do or doing them in ways that He doesn’t want them done, we are going to have a very disappointing ministry.

Jesus isn’t just moving randomly here. He is fulfilling specific Scriptures, He is proclaiming a specific message, and He is obeying a specific direction from His Father. He is showing us the only way ministry is going to be successful for God. We have to move away from following God in general. Just as Jesus knows exactly where, when, how, and why the Father wants Him doing things, we have to stay before God until we can do the same.
