Reconciliation with a person is priority-one on God’s list. He has plenty of everything else. He wants people loving people.

We feel we would be able to reach the entire world with the gospel message if we only had enough money. We probably wouldn’t let this person out of our building to go make things right with someone else. We would probably want him to go ahead and give his gift. Then he could go make things right with some other person. We figure that, that way the money can already be doing a work for God, right? We might worry that his is gift probably wouldn’t be safe being left “there in front of the altar.” Someone might find a special use for it before he got back. But, the ministry isn’t being held up because of a lack of financial resources. It is being held up because of a lack of spiritual resources.
